Gmap problem

I feel stupid enough for posting here already so dont flame me too much ok?
I've uploaded my gmap, added it to the gmap list in the serveroptions but for some reason NPC's wont show. Im using a file called pimmeh_staketop.gif (just to make the top of stakes look like it blends into any tile and not just brown and green, you know the problem I think :p).

P.S.
And im not sure if my server automatically runs on GS2...does it?

Did you put the .gmap file in your levels folder?

zokemon 06-11-2007 10:50 AM

You didn't put the ".gmap" in the server options, right?

You should have like:
gmaps=mymap,othermap
NOT:
gmaps=mymap.gmap,othermap.gmap

Well no I did everything right seeing that after a day my NPCs showed up suddenly. I asked help for Contiga (Thanks btw) and he set a system to go around the problem and It didnt help a bit on the day but the day after I uploaded another GMAP and the NPCs simply showed up there and the other Gmaps worked perfectly as well....

I wander now where the delay came from.

Graal servers seem to be acting wierd recently...
Very laggy :(

I know at one point Stefan said loadmaps are useless, but don't playerworlds simply put a set of loadmap commands on a system npc that every player gets?

If not then oh well. GMAPs can be funky sometimes, nothing that can't be fixed though. ;)

No, haha. Those days are waaaaaay over.

Bah, the wiki says it's best to restart the Gserver after uploading/changing a gmap file :o

zokemon 06-12-2007 06:58 AM

Only after changing one, not uploading a fresh one.

ToNy_W 06-13-2007 12:05 AM

Ah! not if you upload the levels first, go to one of the levels, and then update the server options and upload the gmap file, which is what i did on my server for some weird reason :noob:
