Robots.
 

Ok, talked to Stefan on RC a few minutes ago, and he said that this idea would be fine. But I would like to get more Ideas on what else these guys should be able to do (so I can make the graphics of them doing whatever).

Right now all I have planned, is maybe a gun, and a sword both popping out of the robots hands.

Please, if you have any ideas post them. And also let me know if I should change anything with the Graphics. (The different colors are there, because I'm going to make them come in all types of colors. :) )

Yeah, you need to make sure I get a control with a big red button that blows up the robot and everything on and around 1000 yards of the robot when I press it.

How will your robot reach you? Will you ride around in your robot alll of zone?

How about you can explode it(someone else idea but this may become lame) and you can send out a mini robot from it(this would also be a good idea just by itself. It would be faster than the speed of players when they are running but only have 20 hp?

I want a prox mine field built around it. ;)

i think my idea will make you think im retarded.
make one robit look. then make another terminal, just like the one that changes our looks. probly make the different "parts" that you can change the arms, legs, body, hands, head, and shoulders.

sounds good and how about you start off with one look then you upgrade to the other and you can buy parts that effect how you attack right hand gun left hand sword(shoot and slash at the same time maybe, or if you have guns in both hand you dual shoot and same with sword, you slash together in a wide direction) like you can increase your speed by buying some type of legs or increase your endurance.

Yeah, buy add ons.

Its a robot, not a vechile. ;)
Player controls it, but doesn't "drive" it or anything like that.

I need to know what the robot should be able to do though.

Right now I'm thinking, like I said in my first post, just a weapon or 2 built in it. But I want to hear what Ideas you guys have for it. (That way I can just make the graphics now, rather than later)

buy guns and swords for your robot and have a robot event fight to get special weapons

thats sounds awsome, but just to think ahead how is this gona be used, who can use it, and what all is it's stats (ex: power, amout of hp)

It will have to be something that even a trial with SKILL can beat. Not some uber robot. And how about you can buy a jetpack for it(but you will have to have the right armor, lets say there are armor for endurance and one for speed if you use endurance you will be slower but little more hp and you take less dmg but you will be slower and you wont be able to use jetpack) Lets keep it like the mechs so anyone can beat it with that beam or electron.

or maybe just make it to where the endurance and speed is based off what class you are

still how will someone obtain one of these robots. If one person gets one first and soon on other people get one then that first person will "own" zodiac for a short period of time.(since this robot sounds like it would kick azz)

If that's made I can finally have a mega zord when I'm a power ranger! Which is totally awesome because I get to crush big bad guys with it.

How about making the robot the same size as everyone else. Other than all of these big robots. A nice normal size robot(like megaman xD...alot like megaman actually) this would be better in my opinion. You cant heal your self as a robot or while you are controlling the robot. But like you set up a small base and you control the robot but if someone shoots you the robot explodes?

I say they should go with a Planet or something, maybe make a New Map where you can have "Robot" wars, and we can fight!

I don't think they can fit on any planet besides Gwars, without being super lame. :(

Destroyable buildings with that big city planet then. Like you can buy items for your robot here in those buildings but there is a chance that someone can destroy the building why you are in there causing you to wait 1 hour til the NPC workman come and finish building it. :]

Well, I was thinking something like;

Name: Droid
Type: (under armour)
Ammo: Plasma/energy/.45 (depending on weapon)
Health: 100
Damage: 14 (w/o weapon)
Walking Speed: .1 faster than commando
Description: bought in shop for ~8k-10k

It would just make your normal character stand still, and would make you control the robot, instead of your player.

Ok, let me start on making more sprites.

I still say if you make it like a big mech then wouldnt it be a little unfair to trials(yes i know its a gold server but for every 2 trials there is 1 who buy gold subscription, but i honestly want to know why zone and gk arent classic..how are they special-er) well anyway if the robot was the size of the player it could follow them around.

it would be counted as a weapon right? well 10k sounds good since most people have to have cookies and meds just to stay alive, thus making a less amount of people with it. i dont think there should be a score for it though cause its just like two lives x.x

Photon is 18k and any P2P can amazingly get 18k, 10k x.x Do you want to see 5 robots coming at you towards b1 with you only wielding apps? This thing needs to be a lot if it's buyable.

It should count as a kill..and I have alot of ideas if the robot was the size of the player. It could have a gun in one hand and another weapon in the other even if that weapon would need 2 hands for the player. Like beam the robot could use beam with one hand(the beam line would be thinner though) and he could use it up 3 times then he would have to rest for about 6 seconds(6 seconds could kill you :o)

to much, how about half of that or maybe a quest for it you need to collect bolts to build your robot? Get bolts by killing people and more bolts when you kill a mech or one of those speeders

I see these will only be fore 'advanced' players who have mastered the art of laming, because the average casual player can barely scrape up 5k
