This was the best version of kingdoms imo.

Can't say I remember that version, I only remember when it was first released, and there wasn't really anything actually on it, except that you could equip weapons to both S and D, and they still had the tracks and the thing that goes on it from 2K1.
Anyways, I kind of like that style they had going, kind of cartoony.
(OT: Why do thumbnails take so long to load here, it's not like they're being resized via HTML or something, because then I still have to load the actual image after I check out the attachment, and it takes almost the same time to load the whole image as it does the thumbnail.)

I miss the old Zormite houses...they look so much better then they do now.

I miss the plat/alchemy bug. Made the game fun in a way other than e-Peen items.

That was the "alpha preview", I think it was called, from jan 2002. It felt a lot more graalian than gk does today. Eventually they just dumped those bodies and gave them to graal 2001 and used the ones we see today.

Shame GK turned out to be the way it is today :/

The new bodies are good, but dont really fit with the original Graal and are coloured bad ;/

heh i remember that.. you also remember in the preview when there was only one island and you just had to say /pk or something to turn battle mode on or off? I remember those bandanas.

GK needs some quests or something. :D But I'd say it's about as fun as it could be for being a grind game where you just level.. :)

Yes they are currently working on new quest ideas.

When it was one island and the ice spell was ridiculously overpowered so everyone became a wizard to pk the hell out of anyone in the one mine that was on the island.

I have a few good ones, but here is one some will remember. Brad spamming fork lightning, at this particular time, in the trade house. :p

PKing in the trade house was a beautiful thing, and excellent profit for enterprising newbs. :cry:

Mmm... I remember the cauldron bombs that used to get set off in the trade house.

I remember dragging lords into bomb trade and setting them loose, scaring the bajeepers out of noobs. What fun. :)

Fun times to bad it's not like that now :(

i think at one point I was the only person on the server to have forked lightning and nobody knew what it was so it was ridiculously overpowered for so long and dominated lives

i miss when it actually had a decent player count!

I remember when you used to take Lords back to the castle. It scared the crap out of me when I first saw it.

Heh, I spent so much time trying to work up the plat to buy a scroll of melee weapons just so I could do more than kick rocks.... then it was changed to work without melee weapon skills. Blah.

I think it was a bug but it's not anymore.

I think it wasn't a bug at first, but now is a bug, and Stefan thinks it should be fixed.
IE: Pick ax shouldn't work without melee skills, now it does work without melee, and it shouldn't, and should be back to the way it originally was.

I was freaked out when I saw someone with rexes for the first time. My first reflex was to kill them. There were a lot of really helpful people that used to be on. I remember this guy named Marlin who helped me so much when i first started. I wish I had my old account just because of the people who helped me that I never really thanked. BTW I have played this game for over two years, this is a new account, just to clear some thing up.

Getting PK'ed in Trade, then calling in Plasma and Juggernaut to destroy the place. Also, when all the big players pked me, Nappa, Thallen, Craigus, ect would pk me NONSTOP in trade.

I remember the very first Kingdom war between Dustari and samurai. Good times.

hah i remember me and draxx found that bug lol. i was stupid one day i was wandering how much gold i could get out of platinum. sold it to store and wow got more money from gold than plat i alchemized,,,
