Dropping large amounts of items in events?
 

Hi, I was playing in an event, and when I died I lost many diamonds, two bags (Stuff in them). If any staff-member can look into this, please do.

If you have plat in a container (or maybe it only works for sacks) when you die, it's automatically opened and the plat it taken out of it. If this isn't in place for other items when you don't have enough plat to cover your death then it should be.

It should take 1,300 diamonds? I don't think so.

By the way, does your bag drop? o.O

No, it should take however much it would take if they weren't in a container.

Maybe it would be useful if you knew who picked it up.

He doesn't know who picked it up. In the event there were a lot of monsters that made it impossible to see, and he died so he was warped out so he doesn't know who has it unless someone tells him or he looks at the logs.

Actually, it happened several times that someone lost their bags and all stuff inside them now, and I dont think anyone picked them up, really. Just some...stupid bug that has to be fixed? Dunno how I should call it o.O

Any donations? I'm not getting any of it back. Bjorn told me I wasn't himself.

Please don't blame people like Björn, they can't do something about it. Report the bug so that we can fix it, e.g. last week we fixed the problem with charmed monsters giving full spellpoints in a few minutes.
It is possible when you die that items from containers (bags) are removed, eventually it is displaying a wrong amount of the items, it shouldn't drop more than required. I will try to add more logging to the item dropping thing to be sure in the future.

I'm neither blaming Björn nor you, its just that this bug is already known, its there for months now, and it has been reported several times.

It could actually be interesting to make pets or charmed monsters fill your hp and sp, this was a bug though caused by some GS1 script.

You also have to remember that Lylic kept adding items to his list as he was massing what he lost. First it was the dias then it changed to other things being added so I don't know what to believe.

Not trying to be mean Lylic but its just strange when you kept adding items onto what you lost. And frankly they can't do anything if you lost it at a event. Like someone said to you. If you didn't want stuff like that dropped why did you goto the event. You know what happens there like everyone else.

before Lylic comes on claiming stuff I have what he massed right here...as you see he starts out by asking if someone found 1300 dias and two bags then stuff increases with each mass which makes me question this all that much more.

Actually it is as it has to do with Lylic and what he apparently lost.

It has already been said he isnt getting it back so why bring it up

I don't see why anyone should get their items back if they died, besides i don't think anyone picked them up, i got 100dias from the event which could have been his but no one else has found anything from the heivils/icebubes

I was looking through inventory. All I noticed at first was diamonds, and bags. Sorry I couldn't be a genius and tell you all the items I lost at once.

Well I am sorry it just seems kinda suspicious is all. How would you think if someone reported what you did then items got added on? You would think they were trying to scam or something. Anyways the topic is done with as Bjorn said no to you already. Next time you know better.

Know better? How do I know better, I had plat, and diamonds. It takes all my plat, and diamonds to?

No it only takes a fraction depending your luck and lvl (some times all) just be more carful before dying
