When boredom strikes

I was fooling around with N-Pulse's tileset and came up with this. I could've done with a few extra tiles to neaten up the water->land for the cliff..but comments?

I like everything from the cliffs down, but on top it just looks like you got lazy or gave up. That's not an insult I probably would have given up too if I tried to make a whole level with that ugly thing. :)

It looks decent. 6/10

Well could have done the exact same thing with the regular tileset.

I hate the detail in this level, you just added those 2 grass tiles like everywhere in the level, almost looks as if there are rows of them.

I like the path style. :)

I don't see how that is relevant? I just said that I was making a level using the N-Pulse tileset. You'd be suprised at the number of suttle differences there are between the tilesets though. I don't really like using the tileset, but I decided I would try it out, although in my opinion the level looks nicer using pics1. I'll give credit to them for adding a lot of tiles to make LATing more convient however.

If only you would have detailed it better.

Rapidwolve 03-29-2007 04:43 AM

Classic tiles are way too hard x_x, then again I lack creative thinking *sigh*

Nice broad detailing with cliff's and high grass, but when you get in the the narrow detailing such as the grass and dirt.. Its screaming for more detail
