Computer useage and graal.

I just checked out my computer useage with and without graal on and its 7% normally and when i have it on it jumps to about 65-67%. Is there anyway I can lower this so my performance improves?

Would this percentage be of your total processor capacity or the percentage of whats currently being processed?

You mean 7% when gral is not on and when you turn on graal it's 67%???

Lower the rez but to lower the rez you have to play on full screen mode or it wont work. Turn off the special effects but they don't do that much stuff.

System specs?Without them I'm just shooting in the dark :P
Memory and processor and the copy of your OS

If you have low memory your processor will be busy swaping file from your memory to your hard drive.

EDIT: may might will help if you need to know some things about your memory and processor Go here http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and download the file
CPU-Z 1.39 the link is around the top left part it will show you your processor and other stuff you need to know.

Or you can get a video card but if you have low memory your video card wont be much help.

How does lowering the percentage of CPU used improve Graal's performance? Or are you talking about your computer's performance on other stuff while Graal is open...?

Ìt takes 60% even when being in the startscreen or only when going on servers like Zone or Zodiac?

Oddly I must point out that the AMD drivers actually slow your processor down when its not in use, so if your using AMD processor with the official drivers, it will not report correctly. However this AMD driver is a good thing, because it does increase to its maximum capacities when you actually do need to use it for some full 3d game or whatever. With the graal running at 60%+ on intel, well I wouldnt really be able to tell you, I went with AMD because Intel chips generally had a very low FSB at the time I built my PC.

I wouldnt really worry about your CPU usage when graal runs, its just one of those wierd annomolies that don't really need to be explained. Unless of course you are lagging in some way.
