Player owned biz

... i think u should bring back pob's (player ownd biz) ... because i think it adds more depth to the game, and makes it more realistic ... but if u put them back u should give more flexibilty like i co own a taxi service ... so i would like to turn that into a pob

they dont care about being "more realistic" and player biz's meant some people make insane money.

Are you talking about the hundred small ammo shops that players could buy before the reset? they were pretty lame, i heard you could get insanely rich in a matter of days if you owned one of those...

They should just bring back old biz like Deliday Hotel, Greenroad Cafe, Regency Theatre, etc...

A biz doesn't have to sell ammo or guns to be cool :(

Those bizes had a lot of potential and were a very nice system, they just needed to be tweaked, have their cost increased and have their profits taxed :{

Mange and Hachi with their big hammers of doom crushed them all..

they sucked ass anyway.

I second this, I co owned James's old business, what the hell was it called.. Majan or something?

Anyways, made james the new tony montana of era in a couple hours.

Way too lame.

yeah i like the idea of taxing the biz .... because it easier to get wat u wanted like, u wouldnt have to go to just 4 places to get guns ...

I like this thought
i tried to start a shop in the mall
it sucked...
If u put down 50 Ak Ammo and type 10$ they can buy the lot for 10$....
Grrrr

EmChain 03-19-2007 05:19 PM

Yah just bring them back, and tax the business' based on their daily or weekly income. I think this would be a good idea.

Sounds like it's working perfectly to me.

Curt1zzle 03-19-2007 11:24 PM

Wait, wait, wait...are people seriously complaining that they WANT the Biz's back? Those monotonous pieces of sh*t were horrible....

I don't play Era anymore because I was framed with a hack program  , but thats not the point. Just simply bring back the mall. It was a great place to sell/trade items. Anyone buying/selling items just went there. Thats all you need guys :P

Yeah, I've already re-scripted it. [Did it a week ago infact]
I just need level rights to debug it
