What's Going On In Life?

Lately, I've been trying desperately to get my grades up so I don't fail the ninth grade, tho if I do succeed I will have to go to summer school but I will be able to pass. :D

Been trying to learn GS2 and am succeeding due to teaching from Hell Raven, who is an excellent teacher.

Also, I've been trying to talk to a girl in my class, with not much success. :(

What's going on with you guys?

Draenin 03-14-2007 03:30 AM

I'm on spring break at a friend's house. His roomies are disgusting.

Stephen 03-14-2007 03:33 AM

March Break, Canadian equivalent of Spring Break. Lazing around, mostly.

I was in your situation at one point, the only to not try to learn to script while you have bad grades...you can trust me on that one -_-

Draenin 03-14-2007 03:44 AM

When I get back, I'll have a lot of homework to do. Until then, I'm just going to work, eating, sleeping, and working through more of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and XII, both of which I've already spent more than 50 hours on.

My kitty cat has a tumor on her front right leg. :(
The doctor is giving her shots that's supposed to somehow attack the tumor tissue, and if that doesn't work he'll surgically remove it.

Still cruising along and loving life :)

Got a lot of parties to go to over the next month so I guess I'll be having more fun.

Shaun 03-14-2007 05:33 AM

Working hard in classes, helping people with their's. Today I was put in charge of updating the content and layout of the Department of Economics website (which is a huge responsibility!).

Plus I'm spending what's probably far too much time with my girlfriend. And boy is she getting on my case about living a more healthy lifestyle as of late, haha.

Mykel 03-14-2007 05:36 AM

Mission 108 / 300. I'm a perfectionist and don't want to miss any chances of getting some of the awesome stuff you can steal before beating the normal missions. In the main storyline, I'm barely past the second crystal, and I've already learned Ultima moves for two of my characters. It's going to take me a long time to unlock everything in the game. I expect a good 150 hours or more.

Also, I think I'm going to get a copy of Radiata Stories soon, because I've had my eye on it for a while, and I didn't know that Tri-Ace had helped out with it.

Well, I bought a house, got a job, got married, had 4 kids, saw them graduate, went on a couple of trips, had my house flooded, and retired.

I'm in a routine, its boring.

Demisis_P2P 03-15-2007 12:02 PM

My life has been playing out like a book. It's awesome. Fairly long story but worth the read, IMO.

7 Years ago I moved from a small bayside town (~10,000 people) to a town that formed around the first railway in the state (population ~250,000).
After being here for a year I became friends with a girl that I eventually fell in love with. It was pretty apparent that we both liked each other more than friends but she was already dating somebody so we just stayed friends.
Eventually she found out that her boyfriend was a homosexual and they broke up, but by that point I was already dating somebody else. When my relationship eventually fell through she was dating somebody else, and he turned out to be homosexual aswell.
All up I think she dated 3 homosexual guys in a row; because she taught an after school dance class and dated guys from the class.

I DID NOT DO DANCE.

At the end of senior year she got kicked out of home and moved in with the guy that she was dating at the time (he just happens to live in the same small bayside town that I used to live in). Before she left we both confessed our feelings and whatnot, but there was no way I could support her, so she had to move in with him.

One year later. I still talk to her a fair bit and she complains about being stuck in a loveless relationship. We joke about running away together and getting married.

Another year later. I still talk to her and she's still dating the same loser. I got offered a job tutoring English, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance and Economics at my old high school, but eventually turned the job down because it was too much workload since I'm also still in University.

Now here's where things get tricky. While I was considering the tutoring job I met a girl, 2 years my junior, who asked me to give her private tutorials. This girl is a model, and is the new after school dance teacher. She's also the younger sister of the first girl. Bam. Major dilemma ensues.

I could seriously write a book about this ****. It's so cliche. So coincidental. So perfect.

I could also write a book about the trials and tribulations of my dating efforts in between the two year period starting when the older sister left and ending when I met the younger sister. Including:
The girl that bit my hand until it bled, on a date. Totally unprovoked :{
The girl with the scat fetish.
The girl that I met once when I was 12, who still remembered me.
The girl that stalked me and would always be in my room when I got home from someplace.
The girl that got everyone (including her parents) to lie to me about her age and turned out to be 15.
Etc.

There's more but I think I'm already pushing the rules a bit.

CidNight1142 03-15-2007 02:25 PM

College is wicked hard as usual. I work my ass off and attempt to still have fun on the weekends. But I like to work hard so it doesn't bother me. These forums and the other ones are sort of a stress relief for me, as you might have noticed I don't actually play graal anymore. But besides that, my relationship is incredible. I'm redefining what I thought love was and it feels great, I'm pretty much married and I love every minute of it.

Besides that, I'm just sort of living day to day.

Chris 03-15-2007 03:27 PM

Dem. Are any of those girls the one that wanted you to.... you know? :winky:

What's going on with you guys?

There's really not much someone can teach you except give you scripts that show certain functions and have you mess around with them.

I just been learning vbscript sort of in my class. Finished C++ but we didnt even go in depth with it.

Heh, that's crappy. I have...kind of a similar situation, in some aspects, but not really. I dated a foreign exchange student my junior year of high school (it's now my sophomore year in college) and I feel hard for her. And apparently, she fell hard for me too. Well, the school year ended and she had to go back to Argentina. We (obviously) had to break up and say our goodbyes. We didn't have much contact for the first year to year and a half, but as of the past year we've talked a lot.

We've basically found out that neither of us are over the other one. We've had relationships since, but nothing in comparison. So, basically, we're trying to find a way to be together. But, right now, that's impossible. We're both busy with college. I'm going to visit her in December, and she's going to visit me a few months later, but that's basically all we have planned out. It's confusing.

SayianOozaru 03-15-2007 06:36 PM

I'm waiting to take my final GED test, and move on to college. No school, so I pretty much sit around the house waiting for everyone to get off >_<

Not as fun as I thought it'd be D:

That's a pretty damned good time for girls. I ran a 5:12 in high school. I was pretty mediocre. In my state, a 5:30 would get you to states for girls.

Switch 03-18-2007 05:00 AM

School (all honors) and Graal, social life and dances and sports. You know, normal middle schooler life...

Sorry, Hell Raven's been teaching me. And there's alot he has been teaching me. And it's working for the most part.

MysticX2X 03-18-2007 10:40 PM

Er i dunno, but i heard hotrian tried teaching you in the past and you got pretty lazy with that.

warp2ukew 03-19-2007 04:25 AM

Visited collges over Spring Break. Broke up with GF, but that's ok because I wanted to take a different girl to prom.

Tennis season is underway, looking to play at the college I go to (few offers already).

Honors classes are incredibly easy, high school is a joke. I go into AP World History everyday and sleep half the class.

I can blatantly see the brilliant honors student in your grammatical errors :D and the fact in middle school you can only take some gifted classes or be ahead in math. Honors classes are non-existent.

Does anyone see what is funny about this besides me? thrash
