Converting pics1 to Type 1
I'm just curious if anyone has tried this - cutting and pasting the various tiles into appropriately-grouped sections in Type 1 format for ease of use on a new playerworld?
I've just started an attempt at it and the going isn't terribly slow, but neither is it terribly fast. I'm wondering if anyone has done it already, in which case it would be a fruitless endeavour... |
From the wiki:
http://wiki.graal.net/index.php/Creation/Dev/Tileset Near the bottom, you can see Malinko's attempt. |
I've seen that, though it's unfortunately not pics1 but rather a variation. I suppose I'll continue with it until:
-someone shows me it's already being/been done -I get bored -I finish *shrug* |

I'm working on it when I have the chance, interest and motivation so give me a while to get it figured out and done. It's nice to convert the bits that probably shouldn't be blocking (mushrooms for example) because they look so cool in the level.

Really though, Is a 3 inch mushroom going to block your path? :x
|
Maybe not in real life... but... A graal character counts as 2 tiles blocking in game, that's 32 pixels. The average width of a human is maybe... 12-15 inches. Half of 15 inches=7.5 inches.
That's a 7.5 inch mushroom. |
