Maybe? I do not do graphics (PS GRAPHICS FORUM)

Rufus 03-03-2007 11:10 PM

Try this.

I saved it as a regular gif file in photoshop then dragged into gif2mng, which should be in your Graal folder, if not "Upgrade Packages" and download the Development Pack.

Switch 03-05-2007 03:54 AM

Thanks. Yes, I have gif2mng, but what exactly does it do?

Changes animated .gif files to .mng, and non-animated .gif files to .png.

Ugh. Rufus, =/.

Here's what you do my man. Open the thing up in photoshop. Got me?

Go to image. The Mode. Then click Index. Then save the image as ".png" PAY ATTENTION. Put that -> ".png" on the end of it. Unless you have "Use lowercase extension" Checked off in the Save As box. Save it in your Graal folder AND <- See that? AND your tileset folder in your Graal folder. You should be hooked up. Just put this in a script.

addtiledef tilesetname.png,,;

it has to do with it being 8 bit vs 24 bit, its loading online but not offline. if the extension was PNG, it wouldnt load online, which it is, since the server only handles lowercase filenames

Switch that tileset is my property

When you use Index that it auto changes to 8 bit. :] Or actually no it doesn't. But it allows use online as well as off. But if you wanted to load it Offline then just use index as a said.

So what is index, for curiosity's sake?

First off: What goes on a server stays on a server (unless
owner/co owner/manager says so).
Second: We're getting a new one >_<

Seeing as how there are many stolen and edited tiles from other servers, I doubt that.

It only allows the same amount of colors that are on the tileset to be used.

Like if I had, say, 11 colors. Then tried a new shade, it would change my new shade to the closest shade of color already on the tiles.

No, essentially making it indexed.

Switch 03-09-2007 02:01 AM

Yes it's not tecnichally his property, but he said "the owner made it for me" when he put it on. But seriously, we ARE going to get a new one...
