Delterian Updates
 

Delteria has updated its server a bit to attempt to regain some playercount while we continue to work on Delteria Dev. Alex Stravier (GP Admin) has added two additional quests (numbers 11 and 12 on attachment below) for the players to do.

Other than that we're try to make a focus on keeping events being hosted while players are on to give them something to do, as well as releasing random new fun NPCs. Also, a small currency system is being worked on that will be basically solely dependent on event wins.

Moreover, the overworld has been made signifigantly smaller, and all of the quests have been moved to fit within it. If you are new to the quests you'll have to do them all. Everyone has to do the new two quests. Thanks for the support, and here's a map of quest locations:

As far as Delteria Dev goes:

About 95%-99% of the overworld, as far as actual level work, is completed. Sandz and Tom are adding new custom GFX each and every day, and the look and feel of the server is progressing very nicely.

The majority of the work left to do is scripting. We have two very capable scripters, but the amount of work they can get done is limited due to various reasons. We are hiring scripters as of right now and could definitely use capable, hard-working staff members. But then again, who couldn't, right? So, if you're interested, I suppose we could show you around the server. Feel free to sign up on the Delteria Forums or send me a PM.

Will I still be able to make ridiculous amounts of money with that bubble game? ;)

We also have a new events schedule. Actually, we'll be running events as often as possible, but this is a tournament schedule. There is one for every day of the week, so try to hop on when you can and win a statue. :)

i remember my jaws dropped the first time i logged into this OW back in january 2002.

The events are actually really fun lol, kept me up till like 4 in the morning playing them >;o

Last night when I logged off at like 1AM EST we still had like 35 people. 8-)

I'm so glad Delteria has playercount again. Those were some good times to be had when I first started playing Graal.

Kinda weird though...I seem to have two bows, and two bomb NPCS :p

one of the two bomb npcs drops faster and lets you put as many bombs as you want down, instead of the default 3 or however many bombs.

Yeah, it's great to have a nice playercount. A bunch of people decided to come back around the same time, along with out new quests and constant event hosting, it just all happened at the same time.

The New OW really is coming along nicely. The first island is near completion and I do believe it will be released when it's done. As of right now the OW just needs a bit of detailing work which I am working on as well as others.

Apparently we are aiming for a spring release, so stay tuned.
