Server SS
1 Attachment(s)
Decided to post a little screeny of a personal project me and friend did for fun. We quit on it because my server ran out of time. -.-
Edit: Can I get some comments on what you think of the tiles..? 29 views and nothing :( |
My, that's alot of blood.
I don't like some of the bits of destruction you added in, the chunks of the sidewalk are far too repetetive. The building? I like the building, great work on that. Alot of the cracks (most easily seen on the big chunks laying around) don't look very good. The lines are too bold and too solid - make them fade as they get thinner or...something...*shrug* I don't know of a tutorial or reference piece off hand to throw your way. How did you get the lighting of the screenshot to be the way it is? Or was that screenshot edited? |

Well it was meant to be a crazy post apocolyptic warfare server...and to Alarid about the light, it was a scripting light effect.
|
the storm drains look a little weak compared to the sidewalk X_x just a suggestion
|
The transitions from grass/dirt shades is too perfect...same with dirt to sidewalk...just doesn't fit the style.
|
The building looks awesome. I like the dark feel of the whole thing, reminds me of a Doom game or something.
|
I love it. It makes me think of a movie I have seen.
However, that random splotch of blood doesn't quite go with it, and also, as pointed at previous, some of the sidewalk tiles are very repetitive, and the grass/dirt goes into the sidewalk to nicely. |
I like it a lot. I think it could be a fun server, if it was done right. However, it would eventually just be half-assed like every other server in an effort to get it completed sooner.
But, nice work. :) |
I think it has(had) potential.
