New Level Please Rate :)

The last level I posted produced mixed views. Overall there were some good and bad things to it :[ This level I tried to make the PK space larger, increased detail, and tried to improve the general look as a whole. People need to remember on Classic not much detail is used ;) . Oh yeah i could not be bothered detailing the outsides

No way out, but you have a table and chairs... haha :P

I kinda like it :) 6/10
It's plain, and needs grass detail on the upper cliffs. I spotted some errors too, and remove the tree stump it gets in the way of pkers. |
I like, so 7/10. :)
|
For a PK level it's nice and simple. Not to much blocking the way.. I like the table and chairs.. I always like to sit where ever I am.
Couple of problem that stands out to me though is the corners to the top of the cliffs are missing. It's a very small detail, but really finishes them off once added. Add 'cut' swamp grass around the edges of the swamp grass to give it a nicer appreance. Maybe alternate between high grass to dirt, to low grass to dirt tiles for the middle section. Give it a little bit more depth. 5/10 |
You're the best LAT on Graal :)

dirt is a little bland, and very repeditive, grass is a tad blank, um too much swamp...

I don't mind WDMs levels, he's just lazy at everything else. ;) |

You got potential, but a long way to go.

Just take comfort in knowing that you're already better than Jaffer.

Right, I'd say 5/10.. It's good, but I don't really like classic style levels. |

Well Thats a pretty bold statement don't you think.. From what I see from Ducati.. No offense to Wan, but Ducati is arguably (or how you spell it) the best LAT (I'VE) seen. |

Ducati is a great technical LAT, but I think Wan is far more innovative, which is the better quality of the two.
|
Both Wan and myself have different styles of LATing. I have taught him things, as he has taught me. I love my Wan Boi!
And thanks Nick ;) Glad to see somone still knows I LAT :P |
Like I said, with differing opinions the top say 5 LATs on Graal are all up for grabs, you can't really define anyone as the "Best on Graal", only the "The most appealing to your sense of style."

I think its about making your style and making it stand out the best you can while making it look the most appealing to eyes and almost impossible to recreate on some cirumstances. For example, I redid "Central" on Babylon ages ago and those levels stood the test of time until the server finally went UC. The same goes for any server (esp the old ones). If you create something attractive and unique it is going to stay there gaurentee. Sephiroth I'm sure can back me up on this consideirng he was on babylon alot. Tons of lats after me tried to edit "Central" but it lost its "feeling" and "uniqueness" when they did so they had to change it back But also learning other LATs styles and learning from every level you walk through as a player. And I also agree fully that its all about who is looking at it. LATTing in my eyes is kinda an art...every tile should be placed with care. |
I admire your dedication - nice attempt on the cliffs!
I've always said Aly's the better out of the two of us <3! |
Tiamat from Delteria is very good as well. Very underrated because, well, if you aren't from Delteria you probably don't know him. He can make levels equally as fast as Wan, and he does many original things. Delteria's current OW was pretty original with the city-life, and the new OW has an even bigger and better city.
