Make sure all your drivers (eg. video card) are updated and post your PC specs. Also, use the Tech Support forum next time ^^.

You definately shouldn't be lagging. But I'm guessing a wireless router because that's what I have and it still continues to lag.

What RAM do you have?
I know from my other PC with just 512 RAM, intel 4 1,5ghz and a 128'er graphic card XP Prof. was already laggy. I don't think I have to mention that games lagged, too.

zokemon 01-31-2007 09:22 PM

Why the hell would an internet connection cause Client lag? -_-;

Why not? I's a difference if you are connected with a 56k modem oder a 14k digital subscriber line >_<

Why not? What a dumb question, because the server is sending data to you mostly. A bad connection cant make your client lag, it just lags the other players.

By the way, that's a rethoric question.
lol? If you are just have a 56k modem you are not able to arrive as much data as with a big subscriber line. So the server is sending all the data to you but it takes more time to arrive it that causes lag. Or do you want to tell me that there is no difference.

Even with his broken english in some parts, he makes a good point!

Well the first question should be what kind of lag you actually have - are the graphics slow (animations are slow) or if there is network lag, meaning other players are jumping over the screen instead of moving smoothly ?

lowest settings?? As in the rez is so little the radar is 1/4 of the screen??? Like it is my my laptop. One day is won't play graal to laggy. But my internet connection is suppose to be 1.5 mbs but really is 1.43mb at the most though.

384 MB ?!?!? lol my windows home edition uses 368 mb of ram!! Also you have 128 and a 256 stick I think that could your lag because 2 different sticks if thier not the same size, brand, ESP VOLTS will later on take performance away or just kill your system.

AMD Athalon Processor
1.33 GHz, 384 MB of RAM
Is this a socket A board??? just asking:p

when you read this post Darkness_Demon go to system information (go to start>All programs>Accessories>system tools> system information)
once there this what you should see when you scroll down to look at your memory.
available physical memory to see how much you really have left to play graal on.

I have 512 on this computer and have only 132 mb free space left.I think the system will keep at a max of 16 mb of free space at all times in oder to run .

Darkness_Demon 02-01-2007 02:21 AM

ok i solved the problem everyone. thanks for all the help. i figured out i need 512mb of ram to run the game at full visual specs and not lag. ty for all the posts too!
