Graal Instant Messenger?
 

Anyone know what happened to it? Also is it still usable? :)

It'd be pretty cool to have a instant messenger. Basically a special server dedicated to it which you log into with your Graal account. However, you can only chat to the people on your buddies list.

I used to have a beta version of it a longggggg time ago when NovaNET was working on it. Then he kinda called in bomb threats and the FBI owned him. He disappeared off the face of the earth after that.

Then that will just be like the IRC chat but just with friends.

Wouldn't be massively hard to do.

I think Graal should have a pm system like an Instant Messenger where the box is always open and you dont have to open pms all the time.

Graal is already an instant messaging program.

i remember sombody made something like this, people downloaded it and it was a virus =(. a lot of people's accounts got hacked that day.

What really annoys me about that whole Geo situation is, that he is very arrogant and doesn't want to hear worries, and things like that.

As someone who is or should be convincing us, he isn't doing a good job or showing off his "wonderful" (useless) program. Instead of taking on board concerns from prospective downloaders/users, he just puts them on ignore and totally disregards their opinions.

Graal doesn't need an instant messenger man. It's called PM's.

In a business situation, if you can create a reason for people to spend money, you should. They could offer special chat-related account upgrades :)

they pretty much already have this. When you subscribe to VIP you get the global playerlist.

Essentially what I mean is a very light program which logs onto the network without the Graal engine solely to chat.

I think this is a pretty good, definately could work. maybe make it be for VIP also. I don't htink anybody is gonna pay any extra than that for it.

This isn't a top priority issue though, =/ so other things should be worked on first.

For VIP people, so I can use it ;)
