Old Login Screen, Can we get it back?
 

Alright so I was looking at some old screenies and came across the old login screen:

I was just wondering if there could be an option to change your login screen to this old styled one? I don't know about anyone else but I much prefered this old look as its simple and effective.

Please anyone tell me if this can be done and your opinions about this!

P.S I mean an option so you can keep the login screen that we have now but chance between this and the other one ;)

Well, you'll never get the original serverlist back since the Login servers are a vital part of Graal.

However, I suppose it's possible for something to be themed like that.

I agree that the old one was better, It had more of a graal feel to it with the green.

Agreed. Just get a v2 version and hack your Graal4.exe a little bit and it should be fine. May take some time though.

I just wish I could have my own theme, minimalism all the way ;-;

Theres a way to change the RC skins so I think there should be a way to change the login skins.

Just do what I said ;) You may need a little practice at reverse engineering though.

I thought we could only change it between red and blue x-x

Yeah i miss that login screen:(. It made me want to play more and more back then.

I just loved how simple it was, it was really nice :D I like the changes made and new additions but I would also like a choice to be able to use that old login screen as its what I was used to and adore ;p

Whattttt The old one was very simple... 3tabs and a text box to type in the server you wanted to play... What is so difficult about that?

Yup, you don't get much simpler than that.

Yeah lol, thats what I liked about it. Very easy to use and I liked the look of it too

Yeah man, this one is like all big and smooth... and bright... The other was got to the point, nothing flashy about it, and it was sleek or sharp, idk... it was better...

I liked the old login but i think the V3 login looked better with the red and black

Yes I like the new editions but I would really like to be able to have the choice to flick between them, that would be cool. The simple feel of it was sooooooo nice :D

And on V3 i liked it that you had your playerlist on the Graal screen.

Hehe, and on GK when you were like really fast if you used V3, but then they disabled it ;( *cries

Anyway, Skyld or who ever can inform us, please is there anything you can do to make it like the old style?

I like the new style of the login but the old one was nice and simple.

I like the way that the different servers were split up into gold, classic, hosted. I know its like that now but i like the way they were in different tabs if you know what I mean, also just the look of it was sweet :cool:

I has dream. One day, you go Maloria website, download Maloria's Graal Installer, it installs Maloria, not Graal. Still Graal engine, but Maloria's start screen, Maloria themed, no Kingdoms themed. You go Kingdoms website, sure, you download Kingdoms, ok. Maloria-Graal can still connect to Kingdoms-Graal, sure, but Maloria fans can play Maloria, and say "See ma, I got no games with swords and firebreathing monstars on my computer, this is a Maloria game."

Then of course you could skin your own, but it'd be neat. I could make a game and market it myself as My game, not Graal Presents Tim's Playerworld Port.

Yeah, get rid of the crap that doesn't belong on the log in screen, get rid of all the kingdoms crap while you're there.

And we might have a decent log in.

Anyway... yeah I like that idea. Maybe it would be like your own login screen and whatnot but somewhere it says "Part of the Graal Network" with a link to the main Graal site.

Start treating the playerworlds like they're actual games instead of modules for Stefan's game, and maybe they'll start bringing in their own traffic. The way it is now, it's like being proud of BGH MUCHO MONEY$$$ FASTBUILD BETA 2!@!


Also, I think Classic's should have the old flash intro. With the baddy and the bomb.:-D

Screw downloading stuff everytime you want to play another server. Waste of time.

Not every time, just the first time. If you download Graal through Maloria, it defaults the Maloria splash screen and defaults Maloria as the Selected World (so just hit enter twice and Boom, you're on Maloria). If you download Graal from Kingdoms, you get the Kingdom splash screen and it defaults Kingdoms. If you download Graal from Zone, you get the Zone splash screen; if you want to play VS, you select it on the list instead of just hitting Enter when the server screen comes up and go there instead. Need I draw a picture?
