Going for a real clean and simple look. I think it's coming along nicely so far.

Erm.. would it be wrong if I said it was horrible? It looks like you used the same texture style for both the grass and dirt tiles. Very little detail to the tiles, and I dislike the color choice. I know this is a work in progress, but this doesn't seem like a very good start.

Colors look great to me, however your texture is a bit strong.

Grass is good no more detail needed to be added there. Umm dirt textures need to be different from grass.

Only the colors are bad :O the gray dont fits with the green and brown
but the tiles are cool oldskool rpg look :D dont need more details |
