Release: Graunch v1.7
 

Ok Graunch v1.7 is finally here.
First of all for installing this version you should delete all Graunch related files so updates will take effect properly.

Files: Graunch.exe, Graunch.dat, Graunch2.dat, Gdoc1.dat - Gdoc10.dat, Gprog1.dat - Gprog5.dat, and so on.

The setup/install when you first run v1.7 is much more user friendly than previous versions so don't worry if you had trouble before you shouldn't now.

Save Graunch17.rar and extract it to wherever you want, run Graunch.exe and complete the quick setup and your ready to go.

To see some screenshots just visit the Glitch Networks website, they are on the main page.

To download the new version click the link on my signature.

Please use this thread for posting comments or suggestions/ideas for future versions, or if you find any problems/errors in the program so i can fix them.

All I can tell you is what all it can do, but that's all listed on my website.

I think you should either find another URL to promote this utility or remove some of the posts. Linking to websites with this kind of content, I really don't agree with it.

With what kind of content?
it's pretty much all about gaming.
If you mean the accounts that are spam and such, i'm working to remove them but i can only do so much at a time.

It gives direct linking to porn sites, specifically.

Maybe it's spam accounts, maybe it isn't I don't know, but you shouldn't be linking to websites with that kind of content.

is it bots that abuse the phpbb code

Yep, there will be more. I plan on changing it every three days or so, links will stay alive since imageshack hosts it. ;)

btw, I thought phpbb boards got them image special code verification for posting? ;(

Sorry zell i am working to remove them but most of my time goes toward family and programming.
However I have been waiting to see Stefan again to see if he wanted to move the Graunch HQ over to a section on the Graal website or something.
So hopefully we'll get something worked out soon.

Mabey ask one of the admins to upload it to the forums? :o

The link would still remain the same though and just redirect to wherever the rar file is for test data reasons.

What link are you talking about.

If the setup file or whatever it is, is uploaded to the GRAAL FORUMs, it would link from the GRAAAL FORUMMSS...

Mabey Admins have the same limits as members, I don't know..

to sum it up i have a download counter to see how many people have downloaded each version of Graunch, and since i've allready started the count on v1.7 i don't really wanna move it.

If I continued the 1st post people would get sick of reading before they got to the post for v1.7 and how to install it.

And Moonie, I have removed the links from my signature for now until something can be done, sorry those are there, but I have very little control over bots and even less time to deal with them right now :(

Just upload it to filefront, there is more then enough space to add your notes, etc. on there.

Useful little program. :p Also having some issues with finding the direct path to programs. :[ To set my custom ones.

Would it be helpful if the custom programs and documents were more of a browse feature rather than having to type in the path?
If so i'll do that for v1.8

Here's a tip though say you have a Graal.txt in "My Documents" the path would not be C:\My Documents\ it would actually be C:\Documents and settings\yourwindowslogin\My Documents\Graal.txt
Hope that helps, it has to be the absolute path to the file.

And do you find it more useful giving the file a name on the menu or should it just use the exe name? like Graal.txt would show as just Graal or leave it like it is now so you could name it whatever you want on the menu.
