Adding Rank Problem

Ok, im the King's Guard of Dustari and have the rights HPAG, now I can add people to the kingdom but when I try to add a rank such as Citizen it says "You are not above that rank"... Now I dont really know what all this HPAG stuff means but i'm pretty sure one of them must allow me to add a rank to someone? Does anyone know? Thanks

Edit: I just searched through some other threads and found that people believe you need the right 'G' to add ranks which I have... so this must be a bug right?

Actually what it is..the rank system is messed up. so right now you can only do who's in the royal guard section.

I see, well perhaps somebody would be kind enough to fix this please? Its annoying having to ask other people to help you, like I have to ask Raven to add someone a rank because I cant do it myself

It's not really "messed up" per se, but it's organized into a tree structure for more readability. Unfortunately, the side effect of organizing things into a tree structure means that one can only affect the ranks under one's own branch. As it stands, I don't even think there is anyone that can add people in the Magic branch other than the Princes and other high ranking officials, because I know I only have HP rights.

If there was a tree structure wouldn't Kings Guard be above Citizen anyway? So as taikun said it shouldnt say 'You are not above that rank', as he is :p

Citizens are in a different branch of the tree from the King's Guard. The highest rank in the civilian branch at the moment is Count. Even though someone is technically of higher rank, they cannot mess with someone not in their branch.

Based on the script, you'd have to have the Townsfolk under Legionaire. Then the problem is the tree goes so far right the gui can't handle it.

I just think its dumb that people who should have the right to add cant do it because of the script or w/e. Isnt there any other way of just making every person in the same tree? I dont know anything about scripting so I wouldnt know but it would make much more sense if a King's Guard could recruit a citizen and other ranks not just a guard or w/e ^^
