Improved Gui Layout?
 

Well we all know I was never at all a fan of this new style, but I'm glad they introduced an all-blue version to make people like me happy.

However I believe a very basic thing can be done to make it look much better...(my opinion of course)

Instead of the way it is (first attachment), you can merge description and map together (second attachment).

Whats the advantage of this? It simply looks much cleaner. Also, the extra room means you can have the map look a bit bigger depending on the server and in the description, the server's picture can appear in full size and support more text. Right now the second screenshot is supposed to be showing the map section.

I like it.

Of course, I think the whole thing should be replaced with an actual hub server so there's always a common ground, but such is an idea unlikely to ever recieve confirmation.

Yaaay a reply! I thought it was a good idea while I was being a noob on photoshop. It gives more room for both the map and description sections AND gets rid of the choppy appearance. :]

why not green since that is what everything else on graal is and the picky girls on the servers may want it to match?? :D

When the first blue theme was released I really liked it because it had a good layout. It was different than the old green theme but it was still nice.

Also if you want it to be green you can re-color it yourself, graal supports custom GFX for the gui.

Some of the backgrounds are scripted.

I'm not that big of a fan of the maps being brought up on the menu. It'd be awesome if they had rotating splash screens for each server, though. (Ones done with art, rather than screenshots.)

how about aption to make custom skins on graal?

I would love that. Not just editing the images, actually changing your gui, text color, text font, background color and how the images are actually used.

I don't think cyberjoueurs are a fan of my ideas :P
