Custom images won't appear as a gani param

PHP Code:

setani("2007_w_shovel1","2007_w_shovel_1a.png");

The image shows up in GraalShop fine, and the gani shows perfectly using any of the default images. But when we use a custom image such as the attachment, it won't show.
/find 2007_w_shovel_1a.png returns:
images/2007_w_shovel_1a.png: downloadable, 1530 byte, 2007-01-05 12:41:36
It's a 256-colour PNG. (It does show up when inserting the name of the image in the gani instead of the param. The gani is recieving the name of the image correctly as it shows up correctly if you add a showimg to the script.)

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Try deleting FILENAMECACHE.txt if its an offline problem. Maybe the image is the wrong size?

If worse comes to worse maybe use a 16 or 32 bit png?

It's an online problem. I tried increasing and decreasing the colour depth, but it didn't help.

Tried .gif?

Attach the gani or the text file of the gani? Perhaps the problem can be solved from there.

.gif doesn't make a difference. I've attached a simple gani used for testing.
Upon closer inspection, the gani doesn't even try to show or download the image; after uploading the image, deleting it from my hard drive and restarting client, then trying the gani again, there is no "File downloaded" or even a "Could not find file for download" message in F2. Keep in mind it still shows in GraalShop and works with default images. This does not make sense!

When you made the gani, was block.png the default image ( the one you were animating with), since defaultparam1 is block.png, and did you use block.png when you ganied it?

Well, we solved the problem. It seems ganis don't like to show params whose filenames start with numbers. Thanks for all the help. >_<

Thats whats happening with mine. I'm 200% positive I I got everything right I tryed changing things by 1 pixle and reversing them andeverything inbetween>_< nothing........

Yes numbers as start of the image filename probably don't work because numbers (sprite numbers) are the default parameters for ganis
