Roman/Greek Idea?
 

I was talking with Butz last night about possibly making a Roman/Greek server which I thought was pretty cool. I came up with some nice ideas. But I wanted to know if anyone has ever thought of doing this? Or has it been tried already? I think it has the makings of a great server tho. :) Comments?

For the theme to actually work it would have to go in-depth and have a strong storyline. That would require a lot of work.

If you're such a supposedly good developer, why don't you join a current good project, or a promising one. Not starting from scratch again.

Devil is right, I pretty much don't think he has the backbone and with the graal development community in scrambles (Everyone working on there own failure (server)) you'll never be able to pull together a quality team.

You got a better chance making a name for yourself on one of the current classic servers.

I heard you were a good developer, but that is second hand information, if I personally knew you were a good developer, there would be supposedly part to it.

Like said before, it would be better to join a current project. As Inf said, the Graal Development Community is completely messed up, you'd have a really hard time finding a team willing to sacrifice so much time into a project such as this, considering how much work would be needed.

As it is, current projects are suffering because so many people are trying to make new servers, I myself have had trouble getting an active team together, and I rely on the strong devotion of about 4 people that work daily. Starting from scratch I'd say you'd be lucky to find 3 people that work every other day.

He's lazy to do work as i have heard and witnessed.

Then he isn't going to get anywhere with his own project.

Id help Koni Killerouge. 2k1 has kinda had a negative rep but in my own opinion Ive never seen it look so good.

You know nothing about me. The only time you've witnessed me being lazy is when I wouldn't do ONE assignment on Zenkou.

Also Infernix you make very good points and I'd be happy to help Koni with whatever he may need help with. However, having applied twice and failed miserably both times.

The problem is that he has like A.D.D. or something. I was considering letting him help with my server but I need reliable people and people who can focus on one thing and stay dedicated to it.

I can say with almost 100% certainty that he will never finish a server and get it public. When you get bored of working on your server you should take a few days off until you feel like working on it again... You shouldn't get bored of it and then say "oh well... wait! I have an awesome idea for a server... I will make that instead!" and then rinse and repeat.

Servers are to easy to get on Graal now.

The simple reason for Stone Henge not going much of anywhere after a while was it was too much of a constrictive idea.

I am 100% sure koni wont finish his server, he has A.D.D. and is unreliable.

Me and Jer were planning to make Mythic a roman style server at first.
