nopkzone not being unset
Kinda a big bug.. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I'll mention it again just incase.
Players are using two bugs to take the noplayerkilling() flag into other levels; basically, the game thinks they're in a no PK zone while they're actually in a PK zone. There are two ways to do this: the first way is to switch between two links rapidly. It will randomly forget to unset the nopkzone flag between transfers, thus allowing them to carry the flag into a PK zone. The second way is to enter a no PK zone, then modem tap and walk to a PK zone. The noplayerkilling flag won't unset when they revive their connection. |
It would be pretty cool if it was an actual flag and not some magical command.

Yeah, I would have prefered to script my own no PK system (among other things), but too many levels already had noplayerkilling scripts in them.
Of course, it didn't click that I could have an NPC replace all noplayerkilling() commands with a custom command.. x-x |
It is translated into a script command

There is another glitch when switching levels really fast. Sometimes you will get stuck in the coordinates of the wrong level.

Why can we not have something like level.nopk = true; instead? :(

*bump*
Has there been any solution for this problem? I'm having the same problems Yen was having. |
