I had a conversation with Master Storm earlier, with topics huge and small being discussed. The following topic is probably the largest.


I know most people will disagree with such an action, but I think it should be taken.

The overworld should be restored to what it was when NPC-Server classic first came out. Sure, we lost alot of space, and alot of the expansion will be out the window, but currently, we've been given Avalon, Babord, and Nimda with no depth - no one can argue they currently serve a purpose, as they're never occupied by players. I believe the Overworld should be redone into some resemblence of the Graal The Adventure overworld, and that the area conversions should be completed with insides.

I also suggest that some of the smaller quests that will require little to no script overhaul be re-added as heart quests. I mean, take Zol's Toilet. Just update a few level links and you are done.

Also suggested with this, though, is that the server undergo a reset - Everyone would have to do the quests for hearts again, while keeping their advanced/GC Items. The starting heart limit would be back to three, and you would be able to gain up to 9 perhaps for now, if enough quests are added and we keep the ones we currently have.

all im saying is that classic needs to change because it's horribly boring right now

Why not bring back all those nice quests from the past? Fighting against inveterate foes was so cool.

Why not read up on the past nearly two years of me saying just that, and then being countlessly denied by the management of Classic and Graal itself?

Don't ask me, I don't know.

Well, I'm trying to assemble some serverside-friendly baddies on the Playerworld Forum...it's just a little tricky organizing, as it should probably be on the scripting forum and/or graal.net, but it's also supposed to be a joint project by bored scripters from all playerworlds working together, so I guess I gotta cross-post it...? It's weird, this game has so many Definitive Sources when it comes to scripting.
