RC Computer Bans

There really needs to be a way to view all computer id's that are banned on a server and would be cool to see what account used that computer id last.

I get people daily asking whats there id etc..

irule13 11-11-2006 07:48 PM

all bans are in the local ban command
and to get a players comp id just do openaccess

Yea but the account/person must be online in order to get the PD ID. The last PC ID used on an account should remain sorta like how the IP does.

My computer's gone through like 5 motherboards in the last month.

If you are trying to tell us you evade bans by this, you should better shut up.

Uh, actually I think he was just trying to make a point about the security of PC IDs.

Either that or he doesn't know about MAC Address hacking.

It sounds for me not like this, but whatever it's not helpful to post hints how to evade a ban, even when a staff member doing it.

Lol Sam...chill pill.... quite possible he is saying last pc id wouldn't work for him as he seems to have a habit of selling/upgrading/melting his motherboards.

Is MAC address even used in PC Id? I thought it was to do with hard drive and registry.

Pop /localbans into RC Chat to get a list of bans, including PC bans.

He's saying he's changed motherboards a ton of times in the past month and that other people who are PC GAMERZZZZ go through many motherboards in a span of a year which means their pc bans mean nothing.

Hell even I had to change my motherboard in June because my old one messed up.

jake doesn't get banned, he was staff on classic for ages and i doubt he played any other servers

jake13jake 11-15-2006 06:35 PM

Wow, whoever could afford multiple motherboards must be rich. Aren't MAC addresses built into ethernet adapters? If your ethernet adapter is part of your motherboard you might be able to change it if your motherboard needs changing. The problem I've had is that the repair shop can't do the job and keep going through motherboards. I just want my own computer back.
