Photoshop doodle
I decided to play around with some Photoshop features, since I haven't had time to get on the PC recently, with work and all. But hey, here's a shot.

Visually appealing but I'm sure theres some kind of detail wrong with it.
I like. :) |
Nice, I really like that
|
Best planet I've seen on these forums ;)
|
Well, I HAD the icecaps looking better, but I had forgotten to save it, so I'll go back later and fix it.
|
Now that I look closely at it, the detail sucks but it's a good use of filter and blur tools in Photoshop.
(I don't know if that's what you used but thats what I would have used) Still appealing though. |
Eh, I don't like it so much. However if your planets were better those effects would quite nice with them :D
|
Well, there is alot of detailing that needs to be done, this is beta.

Speaking of planets, has anyone else got the NASA programs that are like Google Earth? They have one for Earth, one for the Moon and one for Mars.
And there's one for the whole galaxy or something. The effect he used kinda reminds me of the way that NASA program shows Earth's atmosphere. |
The blue glow is used to show an atmosphere, I am unsure if Google Earth does any of that. Thanks for the comments.
|
I think the moons look like they're a bit too close to the planet.
Very nice looking though. |
if our moons were that close our tides would leave a moses effect in the middle of the ocean lol.]]
edit: lol i said moons. |

I'm unimpressed. Try using less Outer Glow and Smudge. It lacks contrast.

i like it
but it could be better i think it lacks depth and its too semetrical, like the icecaps are completely opposite eachother and maybe a bit to big, and then the moons are opposite eachother the opposite way |
You need to add some stars, I think. That's just me, though.
|
That purely rocks, nice work dude.
Cant really comment on it as its WIP. |
best planet on these forums

You also have to realize, though this is a blue planet, it is NOT earth, so some conditions may not be the same as earth (Ice cap size, etc) However, I appreciate all the GREAT comments, thanks guys.
