Can you GANI?
 

Please be honest based on previous experiences with other people. Like if they said LOL U ROCK AT GANIING select good, if people say "LOL U SUK ASS" don't put good -_-...

I'm just interested in seeing how many people can actually GANI as it seems rare on Graal.

Ive never had anyone say anything about my ganiing so is that good bad or so-so?

Yes. Im not very patient though. It requires patiences lots of patience!

yup, if you want to make the ganises perfect, you would need to have some good patience... I've just been making ganises for some months
(well I know how too add params/attrs etc.. and how to use em)

People have seen my ganis. Yeah, I'm not like WOAH OH MY GOOD GOD WHY DID YOU JUST BURN MY EYES OUT WITH SHEER AWESOMENESS good, but I'm so-so.

It's not hard, just tedius (sp? w/e it's sat. night ;) )

Patience is needed in one, such that I do not have.

hehe,the worse thing I think is hard with ganises is like custom bodies or an really long gani...
like for custom bodies with alot of parts,
you need to do for example:

finish the gani, save it,
open it with note pad, go down till you see
sprite ### "name of the image used for that body part",
then replace the "name of the image.."
with like ATTR4, then go further down,
write in DEFAULTATTR4 "name of the image used for that body part"
and save it as an .gani file,
and you can use it online and change the attr's,

Custom Bodies can be easy, but I think its annoying.. :asleep:


A long Gani can be boring, or kinda annoying:

Like saying you make an intro for an server, like 10-15 secs long,
you make like 3 players fighting,
you have to do 3 parts before starting on the next,
so that can take MUCH TIME, and can be annoying that,
when you have done like 9 secs,
and you see you have done something wrong with the first secs etc..
so, I'll say Gani'ing can be hard, but mastered >_<

My god. A thread practically dedicated to me.

It's kinda depressing that I've let my gani talents go to waste though. I don't work for Era anymore and I have no VIP time left to work for other playerworlds. Maybe I should get back into it. After all, a lot of people did call me Gani God way back when.

I tried it before I moved to levelin' :p

I'm with Wan. To be honest gani makers are -rare- and I just made this thread to kind of really see how rare. As you can see many are either so-so or suck, while only 2 are good.

Knowing how to do them, knowing the intricate workings thereof, and even having time to do them are all different aspects. I know how to do them, I know the workings... But -- I'll just stick to coding.

Gerami, if it's a private playerworld I'll have to get more VIP time. Other than that, if you need help and I see the server is going somewhere I'll make the ganis and send them to you via AIM, MSN, whatever.

I guess its kinda like how you see 2007 models of cars come out in the fall of 2006 and stuff.

I haven't ganied in ages and I am sure GraalShop (if it is even called that anymore) has changed so much that I would be completely lost, so I'd say I suck at gani-ing.

I tried it years ago, "Graal Shop - Ohh let's see what they have for sale" but it lied :(

Like wood shop. And metal shop. Construction for the purpose of the adjective/noun. Graal shop; construction for the purpose of Graal. This could apply to any field of development, though. I, personally, think it would be great to make a level editing, graphics editing and gani editing program all in one, and call THAT graalshop.

Would be nice, like something like in level editor, over where levels a listed, it says: "Level Editor Gani Editor Script Editor" etc..
would be nice with a "All-in-one" Editor

I've only seen like 3-4 people who can make decent ganis to begin with. :P
