I like the fact that the body isn't so stiff and the chest is puffed out a bit.

Do a spider on the chest of the outline & add a belt and you could use it :D

I prefer the coloured though.

Although you've darkened around the edges if you were to lighten some bits that stick out it'd probably look quite a bit better.

it looks to me like you colored him with no depth so it dont quite fit with his chest and stuff..
