First Pixel Artist?
 

Something that just started bothering me. =/ Who was the first pixel artist on Graal? Like major? And what was the first custom graphic?

That's really hard to pinpoint, since so many people did custom stuff long ago. Before the forums even existed, actually.

Someone should know.

No it wasn't. It was remarkably similar, but not the same. There was an entire thread on the investigation of that.

That was beautiful. However, I believe the first would be Stefan since he revamped the tileset and some other things after the little incidents of the past.

Well, that would make alot of sense Zero. But I mean the first really really out of Graal style GFX.

They havent waived their fancy "copyright laws" at us in awhile so I think we are in the clear.

I was around back when classic first came online.. The first custom gfx would probably be one of the hundreds of heads, or one of those swords?

on the first day, unix said, "i need an concept!"

he looked at nintendo and found one!

on the second day, unix said, "i need a scripter!"

he found stefan!

on the third day, stefan said, "i need some graphics!"

he didnt find a graphics artist so he took the one of a lnk to the past and edited them :P!

I thought stefan created graal himself then unix offered service or something?

Mandi made the first custom heads (mandi and nick, head2 and head3) in September 99. The first professional graphic artists making graphics for Graal was Willy who made most graphics of Graal Kingdoms.
