Dustari-CP War Report 9-30-06

War started at around 2pm. Up to 6 different Crescent Pirate aligned ships were sighted in Dustari waters. Due to previous events, only 3 Dustari ships were able to be deployed with limited resources. Sea skirmishes consisted of standard battle procedures and ship boarding and hijacking. Dustari forces managed to reach Crescent Pirate island and land, which led to a recall of Crescent Pirate ships. Battle resumed on the island. Due to numbers of Crescent Pirates on their own island, Dustari forces were not able to complete war objectives and were defeated.

Damage:
Recorded Dustari ships lost* - 3
Members wounded in battle - 5?
Civilian Structure Damage** - None
Military Structure Damage** - None
Mana unbalance degree*** - 1

More damage was dealt to Crescent Pirates than Dustari. But due to the lack of war objectives accomplished, this was a defeat.

*- After 2pm EST. Events occuring before are ignored in this case.
**- Presumed due to lack of witnesses
***- Mana unbalance is dependant on how much magic is used in the area and the average magic skill of the users. More magic used causes more unbalancing and higher magic skill causes less unbalancing. Based on Sage Edwin's theory of Magic(to be posted on a later date).

Honorable mentions to Zoogi(Googi) for participating and fighting alongside Dustari.

If anyone has additional information or corrections, please post in this thread.

If you're going to give exact numbers for it, then you better have a formula.

All of the Dustarians did an excellent job in the battle. Considering our situation, you all proved yourself to be great soliders. I am proud of every one of you.

Yeah... changed it to integer values since there is no way I would be able to keep track of every spell cast and every magic level on an entire island.

CP did very well preparing for this war. Blocking the dungeon was an excellent idea. Forcing us to take boats over to their island. Also putting fortifacations up around the castle kept our soldiers from getting closed before getting bombarded by magic.

I agree that it was a well fought battle, with good sportsmanship on both sides. Congrats and thanks to all who participated on both sides, well done !

For the CP mates I have one thing to say, outstanding !!! I am very proud of you all for answering the call for your kingdom, and for displaying the bravery and skill to come through with a win on the seas (tougher than expected) and on the land (which was predicted to be a massacre for CP, but ended up being more so the other way :). Thanks to Zeltino, Admiral Raziel and Mayor Felix for their help in planning a successful strategy. Well done to Proto, Yannick, Marion, Sam, Raziel, Fayt, Ravelyn, Felix, Blue, Lylic, Kuja and all the other Pirates that battled on land or sea. You always make me proud to be in CP.

I would also like to congradulate Ed for his fine ship battling. He was the best challange I've had in a long time.
I wasn't able to finish our battle during the war because I had to leave for 10 minutes or so. But I battled him a day later during a Boat Event.
It was really close. Down to 7% between us.
Ed was resorceful enough to bring boards to repair so he ended up the Victor.
But I'm looking foward to facing him again.
