Official Graal Licensed Product
Half an idea I had-
Remember the Nintendo Seal of Approval? They'd stick it on every game they considered to be Genuine, whether it sucked or not (and sooo many gameboy ports sucked back in the day...) to differentiate the Genuine Games from the Back-Alley Singapore Sweatshop Duplicates that were apparently so prevalent (though I imagine any sweatshop that can duplicate a Game cartridge could go the extra mile and get a gold-leaf printer for the seal...) We could do something like that for Graal sites. Set up the Official Site with a section just dedicated to External Links, and each page that registers (and gets approved) gets a link to their Seal of Approval. Sure, any old person could just copy the code, but if you click the Seal on an approved page it goes back to the Registry, confirming that the URL you just came from is (in fact) an approved site, you can register for the game there, etc. Then again, this is my concern only because of playerworlds, and it seems they either are or are meant to be hosted on the Graal site anyway... Maybe just an extension/revival of Graal.net? I mean, I might want to make a server someday, and if my $100 a year got me tyhmsworld.graal.net, with a basic but functional "Register Here" button, that'd be sweet... |
believe the Newb shield is graal Symbol or what-not. This would be neat... but sort of pointless. o.o
