Gk = Classic (revival of Gk)

Due to the recent lag, slow updates and low numbers, personally i think Gk should go to classic until the dev team get themselves sorted,

It would give them a chance to recover and revive, with the extra players a bigger and better dev team can be made, making updates faster and more people playing.

I doubt many people will start resubscribing soon.

People may say bjorn is lazy at his staffing job but the thing is, time is running out.
Soon Gk will have no players, might not be now, next month, next year but it'll happen unless something changes.

So what Gk has slightly better graphics than classic? doesn't make it better, to be honest classic seems better, more players, bigger staff team, more updates and lifetime access.

why play here if not many people do? for the slight tweek in graphics and ganis? hardly worth the money.

A small note that any free 3d game that had some story to it, could very easily take out what is left of GK and the rest of the players that actually pay for gold memberships.

For example, if star wars galaxies went to a free server type or even world of warcraft realms that were not buggy were suddenly available.. it would instantly be so much better then even bothing to play on trail account on GK. Its getting to the point, and stagnate enough that players quit GK almost as soon as their kingdom leader logs off, simply to play something else.

Erm I doubt it's just me , but Chris stop making completely useless threads . You've probly made atleast 10 in the past 2 weeks with a couple of them about your story and about 5 about graal getting more people.. Seriously. Please stick to one thread to mass all your stuff. Thanks.

Even from what I've seen in the works for kingdoms, I don't think it's going to be enough to pull things together very well.

Again if you want to help pm Bjorn or Stefan. Let them know what you can do. Script, map etc.

When we want things added, he tells us to make them ourselves.
When we've made it, he says it's not allowed.
When it does get approved it's in Debug.
When it's in Debug... he refused to "de-bug" our stuff.

And so completes the cycle, ending in Tylenol and therapy.

Maybe that part is just you.

Not everyone understands, do they. Bjorn control the updates GK actually gets. The server is dieing because it has a LACK OF UPDATES. So what possible solution is there but to remove Bjorn and get a completely new collection of management staff. Unfortunately staff, which are mostly dead or inactive, are to afraid of change, that someone will mess up GK. Well I have news for you too, its dead now, how much worse can it get? I have done by bit, and I've upset Bjorn enough trying to get a few updates in. Apparently he does not like how I do scripting, although they work every single time I test them on debug before I ever even ask him to upload any files.

I've heard the complaints others have with Bjorn and his upload procedures. Its a bunch of crap to have to put up with that. We have the kingdom, why cant we update it as we see fit (Keeping in mind game balance and a few other minor detail)?

You know, Bjorn will probably try to counter this, but I wont care, because I am not talking to or at him anymore. Its up to Unixmad and Stefan to save this server now. Either something is done or GK is as good as dead at the current rate of decay that Bjorn has let it come down to.

I agree with Dayaa. Bjorn has done little work unless you count that stupid Breakout game. It's time to not fool around and get bak to what people pay for because all I see GK as is a waste of money with competant staff.

Lance and Jag.. had a few updates now and then. They kept it from death, now they are gone, and with them the life of GK starts to fade. Even Sam would have been a better manager for GK.

All I have ever seen Bjorn do was wander aimlessly around Main for a few moments, and then log out. He never stays to talk to anyone, he doesnt listen. He wont even answer half the PM's I ever sent to him. It's one thing to be busy, but to ignore people for it, that just gets old..

I don't exactly consider either of you masters of the subject, more specifically you - Jay. However, I am afraid the lack of (development) activity on GK has set a new precedent.

Does a good job on what? We cant even think of using any form of party system now. What good is it to even have healing spells or even be a priest. To be a priest means your a support person.. Thats all I ever really wanted to do.. help others in a group. But no, we can't do that because they are too lazy to fix that problem.

My goals on GK were simply to help others. It's nearly impossible to do that now, and all the players that kept the place going.. are leaving.. because "its boring here" or so they say. Even Zero Hour said "I'm Bored".

Gk is always fun and if you want to heal heal people who are poisoned.

I was talking about in actual battle like in maps.. not just standing around town and being left behind because your main purpose is to heal others...
Its a lame excuse to not fix the problems, but to rather avoid them.

Björn has a lot of things to do. He is getting bombed with PM's when he logs in, so he don't reply to all. I've talk to Stefan and Björn and there will be someone else be able to update/upload stuff asap.

Björn is doing a very good job! You cannot jugde things just from your point of view, 'cos you don't know what he is really doing.

I agree with Sam, You've got to cut staff some slack. They may not be doing any visable work yet. But they will be working.

Sure, we can cut them some slack, but I wont.. GK is dead as it is. If you want to disagree, I dont care. But its dieing from lack of staff help.

You cannot forget, I have been here around GK for more then a year, I have seen the server get 100+ people last year. What happened to that?!? Apparently its old and boring, and something that needs to be done, isn't. I hear rumours of Unixmad looking at hiring some new staff for GK, well its about time they even start thinking about that. It should have been done after Lance was not working for GK anymore.

You think GK is dead because of the low player count? Its been proved that the low player count is because of people going to school and college. On the weekends the player count goes up past 50.

GK's nbackup strarergy is Spilly Stefan and Untamed Unixmad what do i mean?

When everything gos to hell Stefan runs into the server room containg all classic tab servers and spills his soda all over the servers =[.

and Untamed Unixmad takes his shoe off and beats the servers over the head for laging only causes them to crash =[ Either way the way to bring back gold is to take away classic and private worlds and leave them with a gold tab.

Then again it could be a bad idea who knows; it would either promote a very fast profit or will ruin and destroy the graalonline community either way it would be comical.
