A little thing I finished a couple of minutes ago just for fun.

It's okay but the shading on the jewel is odd and misshapes the shape of it. I suggest you shade like it is, like a circular shape.

I tried a different "cut" of gem and then also reshaded the original.

I don't like the top part, however you did a very nice job on the handle.

I like the top of your staff, but I still prefer the other handle.

I personally like Elk's edit of the staff. I feel the original lacks depth on the handle while Elk's rework fixes that problem o.0

The odd thing is that the original actually HAS depth on the shaft, and it's done pretty well, but I am just picky =( Nice work regardless!

I like the original for its palette usage. The colors are intentionally dull, wheras Elk's are closer to my style, which are usually very bright and vibrant. However, up to some extent, I tend to value the works of people using a more limited palette, as it serves as a sort of handicap.
