Graal v4.1 revision 2 released
New Graal versions for Windows and Linux have been released, Mac version will follow next week.
Additions/Fixes: - the Z emoticon is correctly displayed - showpoly-lines are shown correctly - the start-in-fullscreen option is not crashing the game anymore, also switching to fullscreen is working better in general - GuiBitmapBorderCtrl works always - basic web-image download has been added, it is not recommended to use it on regular servers though (it's more for developers) - the true type fonts can be disabled on Linux (and later on Mac) now |

This happens everytime I click a link or try to download a file or anything that leads to an external web browser in graal.
And now I cannot open graal because the same error pops up x_X can someone give me the .exe link? |
Problem with MSVCR80 again, check this: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=66581

I had to completely uninstall the entire graal client, delete the old installer, and then redownload the installer and install it all from scratch... again..
please stop updating it if this is going to continue... |

I have no firewall on my system, they cause me too many problems. Instead I have a linux system blocking things that shouldnt come into my PC, Anyways this gets really annoying. I launch graal and click start, it starts updating and I immediately think, crap now I have to reinstall it again. Because as soon as that new EXE loads up and tries to connect, for some wierd reason it just doesnt find out how to get to the internet. All I do is completely dump the graal folder and its contents and install it again with a new installer from your website. I do not see any reasons that would happen on this computer, but apparently other people are having the same problem as I.

You disabled the Windows firewall? You don't have any Anti-Virus program running either ?
|
wee this new version made graal less laggy for me

But there is an anti-virus program running it seems, and there is a built-in firewall
|
What do Windows Defender and Graal have in common (Besides the DLL)? And also, why would graal be using that DLL in the first place?
|
Graal needs to use windows dlls for writing to files, opening windows, displaying text in windows (F2 window) etc.
