Word Filter
 

From what ive seen today, the forum word filter isnt very secure. :(

I think all offensive racial terms should be added and the "slang" racial terms terms should be set to loose.

yea, it sucks, like when typinbg script on here you cant put "wash1t" properly and theres a few words which shou;d always be censored,

I think they just messed up the, "exact" and "loose" settings completey. Can easily be re-adjusted.:)

Believe it or not, the word ' ****** ' is very offensive. x_x

How bout this, if you're African, you can say ****** (no south africa).
Otherwise, it's censored to 'negro':rolleyes:

I looked in my admin cp for the filter, but could not find it. I assume that I don't have access. I will look again, and ask Unixmad where it is when I see him.

The section your looking for on the left of your Admin CP is called "Word Filter", it's not a 'sub-option' either, it should appear just like Forum & Moderators ect, but yes, if you dont see it, you dont have permission to it, yet atleast. Thanks for letting me know. :)

Listen, I have a problem with a person saying ****** when he means it in a racist way, that pisses me off.
But when it's more like "waht's up nigga?"
Then I don't care
But then again, since these are to be child friendly forums, I could add a lot more words to that list ;)

It's in options -> Then goto Word Filter (Might wanna Control + F it - its LOOONG)

vBulletin only checks for that word aswell as ( i think ) spaces between words.

The people who say "waht's up nigga?" are ignorant, it's quite rediculous how you don't care if that term/phrase is said but when the non-slang term is said you have a problem with it. !pissed!

Anyway let's not turn this into an argument, let's just hope the Word Filter gets updated.

if homosexual man (***) is filtered lesbian should be too. Just trying to bring balance. :O
