Yeah, the rabies bug is back. I can't go two seconds without catching it, and I'm not even around anyone. Please fix it.

I at least last 10 seconds instead of 2 seconds alive. But everytime I die, I respawn a few feet away from where I die, which is good, so I can pick up the stuff I dropped.

SOMEONE FIX THIS BUG. >_<

Yes its horrible, stefan thought he fixed it but it seems not to be fixed. I will not be available in game until it is fixed, because I dont want to die 10 times or more and dropping masses of stuff.

I will be available on RC, but for further support you have to contact Stefan and Björn.

It may also take longer to get the Saloon done, depending on how fast this bug is fixed - because staff have to reset my IP range for RC and they're not exactly twiddling their thumbs whilst whistling at the moment.

If your getting sick stillget cured, or get someone to cure you and get off main. I went and stayed on CP a bit after I got cured and neve got sick there. Need to avoid monsters and sick people.

Quickest way to get rid of it is to avoid casting restore on yourself and casting heal / major healing when necessary. You'll get immunities in no time.

Not only monster, me too. I died 20 times or more. As long as this is not get fixed, I dont go on client anymore! If anyone needs support send a forum PM to Björn, Yann or Stefan, or use the support center.

I can probably cure you 'til you get immunities.

There is not really something to fix. You just have to stay 5 minutes or so with it and then you gain immunity.

I said this before, I died 20 times now.
I stood this morning 10 minutes and later today 15 or 20 min in the arena of bomboria.
If there is nothing to fix, I dont know when this will stop?

If you want to make the players mad, because they drop their stuff and cannot even play or walk without dying, you did it efficient.
I thought playing a game should give fun for the players, not make them mad or quit!

Don't blame Bjorn for it. He didn't cast the spell in the first place. The only person in the game with 107 wisdom did, though.

But he is accountable as player manager to make sure p2p people being able to play.
If the programming makes it possible that someone can paralyse a whole server its something that have to be fixed.

trials get immune after 10 minutes or so but they have to do it all over again when they reconnect D;

Did you touch someone with rabies in that time? (Player or Monster does not matter). If yes you are set back to 0 immunity if you didn't pass the 107 level in that time from what I know.

And in the arena I was the only one, no other players, no monsters, no pets, no staff.

Get some insaine grace regen and use heal after every time it damages you. If you can keep it up, you'll become immune to it if you can do it without dying.

It make me really mad that such things happen, and it's not possible to fix it. There are many people getting mad because they cannot play, just because the developers are not able to fix rabies in a way that it don't ruins the fun for players for days!

Yeah... you need like 300+ hp to gaurantee surviving one DoT(Damage over Time) tick of this rabies.

The rabies spell shold just be removed, seeing that staff are incompetent enough to not be able to fix it, without testing it, what point is there to even say its fixed?

You didnt fix it, I just got rabies at about 3:05 AM Central time, I know for a fact that I cant cure it. Atleast bind it to the player that cast it, and cancel it as soon as that person logs out or something like when they die. This is rediculous, gonna go play some other game until you people learn to fix things and bugs instead of ignore them.

I fully agree that. I remember that it was coded last year that when the player that cast it logged off, the epidemic stopped.

I second the notion though, someone should get on their butt and fix the darned problem if i seee rabies again i'll send in a swarm of virus's to the persons computer whp cast it, i'm that sick of it. I've lost like 60 dias from the epidemic fr0 sent I lost 60 dias, like 5 k in lats, I lost a butt load of monster parts, I lost, an EC and I lost these because i was too far from an arena to make ti and mag was hovering over me just grabbbing the drops, so if ppl are gonna suffer this loada crap b/c comeones too lazy to fix a problem, then someone needs to find a better person for the job.

I've attacked lots of monsters and I didn't catch rabies again. And I haven't even been playing for half a year. :\

I don't really like the idea of restarting. Then, there goes 4 months of work. And I've only been on for that long. There are people who've been on for years. They won't wanna train all the way back up again. And it's not like that bug from a long time ago will come up again just for them, so they can get back up to level 110 again.

I may not be suffering anymore from rabies, but please please please do something about it, guys! You've made a great game, so how hard could it be to fix something?

By restarting isn't meant a resetting. That are differnt things. Restarting is to start the NPC server new, not the game.

Yeah i was talking about just reloading the server it clears things like rabies etc.

It would also be a good idea to disable the rabies spell until this is fixed.

I see nothing wrong with this outbirst of rabies, atleast the high levels are actually dieing now !pissed!

Thank you, I appreciate that. I am healed now, but the problem of this bug isn't fixed. And a lost all my stuff after I dropped it in my house incl. all keys. I made a new masterkey but it dont works, sadly.

Normally you gain immunity after a few minutes. When you are healed and then infected again then you will need to wait the full time again though.
It would be possible to disable player-to-player/monster infection for now, since I will go on holiday tomorrow evening and will have not time to add fixes for trials or so later.
