v4 crashing pc
 

Well my other pc i cant temporarily use so im using this pc. It isnt so good, you could say crappy. But i saw the min requirements for v4 and it fitted it. When i run the installer, it crashes my pc. I tryed it a few times and it still did. I then had a friend install a fresh v4 and send it thru aim and when i try logging in, it still crashes me? My computer is kind of old. It runs at like 800mhz, and 256 mb of ram.

any suggestions?

Whats your OS, system details, etc

My os is xp. Its a pentium 3 processor. Goes at 738 mhz and 256 mb of ram. My video card it says in my device manager is s3 graphics inc. savage4. dont know what ram type i have but its kind of old like 5-6 years old.

The graphics card is quite old, but it should work. Have you tried to install a good driver for it?

I tryed to but i could not find it or that i couldnt find the correct one for it. But with the lack of the update, should that really crash my pc? even trying to install it. I had to have afriend unzip it on their comp and send it over and it still crashed logging in.

Just updated it to the latest one which came out like 6 years ago. It still crashes the pc.

Ok i got it to work! All i did was switch to 16 bit and it worked. The Body sprites mess up a bit but oh well at least im on
