I think it would be a lot of fun to control a race with a lot of fighting variety. Something that would have many hand-to-hand combat moves, so when a human attacks you with a sword or a bomy tries to kick you, you'd be able to parry the sword, duck behind him, and flip him onto the ground :D I don't know what such a race would look like, but they'd be:
1) very agile, have a medium speed (Slower than a saelei, faster than a zulite, etc) 2) Not good swimmers. Can only enter most shallow water 3) Wouldn't be able to use many NPC weapons, but they'd have a wide variety of primary weapons (Maybe the S button could do different things in different situations, or the type of move could depend on the arrow key pressed along with the S button.) 4) Medium strength, made for effectiveness rather than blunt force. Tell me what you think! I'd like some people to build on to the idea :) |
ah! the big 'n' strong but idiot type! hehe, if that class was created, I'd go around saying "I know kung foo'!"
I think Zulite's are going to be "Strong and a bit smart"
Are you talking Samurai or Barbarian...?
A cyclops race could be kinda cool...though ultimately, they'd wind up like every other Humanoid race, IMHO. |
A Samurai race would rule!
That'd be nice

Bomies and Humans are completely different. Future races should be completely different too. Most of these ideas seem like modified bomies and humans with different abilities :\
I already described the abilities, anyone care to suggest a hypothetical appearance for this race?
Plasma?
Just like these semitransparent guys that run around and act like ninjas and stuff...? Or maybe giant preying mantises... *shrugs* |
Rabid killer Hamsters?
Lol... I don't think this thread is getting very far :(
Too bad really.
It has some rather good ideas in it... Well maybe my (in)famous name will help keep it up :D
