What's the chance of having a mousewheeldeltax variable being added for those of us with multidirectional scroll wheels?

mousewheeldelta - vertical movement (as now)
mousewheeldeltax - horizontal movement

Is it currently scrolling for both directions or is only the Y-Axis doing something ?

Well currently scrolling horizontally either scrolls vertically or not at all; my suggestion is to be able to use both directions with GUI controls, and to have another variable for horizontal scrolling.
