The image needs to be in the same folder as GraalShop. Also, certain image types aren't supported (i.e. bmp, jpg)

I believe this thread is more suited for the gani forum. Moved from Graphics forum to Gani forum.

Does not. It just needs to be somewhere in the cached file names, or the graal directory tree.

I have been getting problems with the file cache not loading new files at all. Perhaps the solution would be to scan the directory if a file that is requested isn't in the filecache...

FILENAMECACHE.txt

It pretty much distinguishes the files you've downloaded from servers. I think the new graalshop refuses to take any images that are not listed in the cache. Well, my theory anyway.

Is the boat image actually saved in the Graal or Graal 2001 folder? Because that's showing up for me. If that fails to work try a different image that's located in the Graal folder for a test and copy and paste the boat image into the Graal folder because Graal Shop can't find the images when it's outside of the Graal folder or its sub folders.

You're doing it all right, except you're cropping the boat a bit aswell and when you save your gani make sure to add .gani to the end of it :P

pooper200000 06-27-2006 01:59 PM

yes it is saved in the graal folder and i will try another image in the graalfolder

If it's not in that file, it MUST be in the directory.

I had this problem with GraalShop not too long ago. The cache isn't too friendly with newly created images. I just turned off the option for a cache.
