How do we lvl up?
is it possible to lvl up less than a year's time?
The monsters including lords don't give out much exp. lvling will take too long. Yet again i was so close in being able to land battle but by the time i can make 16 slots in my weapon i would probably have my own house and bills to pay, please make more exp giving monsters if you change the god thing. It's stupid the rate of lvling. Funny fact = Graal slowest lvling rpg i've ever played. And i've bought in shops over 40 online RPG's And subscribed to over 12 online RPG's like graal ect. ((of course over my entire gaming lifetime,)) |
Yea it's taken me, what, 3 years to get where i am without exploits?
|
main problem with graal kingdoms is..
this game is too player dependant. u need players to sell u items and such as most good items are rare or alched.
to be honest if everyone quit Gk now the items availible would be so low the server would die. this server cannot be run by the customers. The creators need to take charge and make this server like it once was. with the wide variety of items ((ID's were craftable even)) many players and interesting things. But now i wonder how ppl been playing for over 4 years, it amazes me. so staff? how do we level? Truely u cannot expect us to wait this lengh of time just to get up a few levels? And the ships.. don't get me started.. Glitch ,glitch, glitch, lag ,glitch. So can somebody just tell me what is going on? |
There are plenty of ways to level still, just not too many to raise up magic, wisdom, and physical a lot. However, all that needs to be added is new monsters to remedy that.
|
They arent going to have new monsters made. They have had years, YEARS to do that, with high funding to boot.
|
Yeah. well i guess we only have 1 option...
Quit gk if your unhappy.
as this game never gonna change. i don't get it though it used to be updated all the time. it seems thats not the case anymore. we only get petty updates we don't need like lights to see where players are. i don't get it. |

You can powerlevel yourself with Agility, Personality, Magic, Wisdom, Physique, or Mental as you see fit. Most players do not realize that the secret to leveling up is not to kill a certain monster or to follow just a single series of steps in the leveling process but something even simpler. Once I say this you will probably think me a fool but either way this is the total truth. So here it is:
You can not level up in the tradehouse. The more you stay away from the tradehouse the further you will advance in levels. Since most of the community hangs out here trading and selling items most of the community stays in the same level range. With a Priest of Balor I rose eighteen wisdom levels (from level 1) in a four hour period. I don't care if you believe me or not, that is the way it happened. I stayed away from the tradehouse. I find myself in the tradehouse chatting and trading more than anything else that I do in the game. The vast amount of time that could be spent on leveling or cooking could is not spent doing so. It's not me either. I see all of us in there all of the time. Even you. The game does not have a difficult learning curve so it's not like it is impossible. Draenin recently spent all of his time gathering money and rubies and in a weeks time powerleveled himself to 110. You can't do that in the tradehouse! Think on it. |
Three weeks time of alchemy, a month and a half of gathering rubies.
Idle hands are the devil's tools. |

Hahaha, thats a load of crap. Stefan plays zone = updates. Ive seen some of them. These measily little nonsense updates mean nothing on gk. We need real updates. Stop sucking up, thats the reason this game is in the gutter.

The answer to this thread is that leveling up past level 28 in any skill what-so-ever is now absolutely tedious and boring... except maybe mental. So you would more likely burn out before you reached a high level goal. Conclusion? You could learn Mandarin Chinese in the time spent leveling to high levels. Edit: Oh... and don't listen to cutelilmurderer. Inflating your level with agility and personality experience will just make you drop more platinum coins when you can't defend yourself. High mental level is only good if you know how to use it. |
What exactly is the corelation of the graal kingdoms codebase to the crossfire code base? I think if gk focused some amount of time to opening up the code base (just enough to let players contribute /something/) we might actually see some of these frequently touched upon topics get some attention. at very little other than an up-front cost to the developers.
Graal kingdoms seems stagnant. Theres a big fat graphics forum, and lots of awesome contributions on that side, maybe the game could benifit some from other kinds of contributions. I see lots of good suggestions on the forums all the time. Though some people who have commented in this thread seem to think you guys get 'enough' money from graal to live in 5 story mansions and code 24/7 on gk. I have a feeling those that do write the majority of code have very little monitary motivation. Why not, this is not a small thing, reorganize things so that all of these awesome suggestions might see the light of day? there are allot of very small things that could very well be entrusted to players to be refined, that could make a humongous difference. Defining the logic of some of the legacy crossfire spells that have /never/ worked on graal, or maybe just some re-organization of the gk pantheon/equipment/monsters/etc... I personally would love the oportunity to contribute. I think lots of other people would too. There seems to be allot of emphasis on not upsetting the balance, but there is no balance to speak of, so feel free developers to experiment. i would much rather have my items go away, or lose some experience than run out of game to play. Maybe this is a tad off topic, but the reason the topic was even started is because of deficiences in the diversity of the game. |

Classic and hosted servers are player run, and have to compete all the time with one another. GK has no player additions at all. The only exception being Kingdom Isles which doesnt effect gameplay much. Which also needs a GK admin to load the player work. |
hehe
i play zone and ts updated a lot!
More than Gk is, so what it stpped at guild wars but at least there is always stuff to do there. Gk only shines when there is loads of people online. I love the atmosphere when more than 2 full kingdoms online. Always ships sailing, always players chatting. unfortunately i am british and a lot of players on graal are american. So most of my day gk is empty apart from after 7pm. ((a lot of gk players adults too and work)) don't get me wrong i enjoy this game. but when nobody online the server is boring. |
I would help as much as I could to put up an ad (monetarily) for Graal Kingdoms but I would certainly need at least six of the updates mentioned in my suggestions (revamps help) topic to be worthy of advertisement.

:) Time for fun.

the last "large" update was the new magic system. and that was more than one month ago. |
Man, I would release some of the new maps I created so others can level up if someone would help out on Kingdoms once in a while. Of course, on Debug, people just sit there and chat.
|
It's not the maps that are the issue. It is the creatures.
