Supposed to be a 32x32 icon for a Maloria shield, in Shocks "Worrian" project.

Why not work on v3's scripting before making random items.

Cause I made it out of boredom, and it looked like a fun thing to do?

Quite honestly, I'm impressed but I'm afraid it ends there.

The icon looks bad, while the actual zoomed pixel art is exquisite, I don't know what to say; I've never run into the problem. Perhaps someone else can help?

I'd say it's partly because part of the icon is outlined in black, and another part is outlined in colour. It looks especially weird since there are feathers in both of those two parts.

When last I remember, Icarus was not hideously diseased. That wing looks more like it belongs on a legendary creature such as Quetzalcoatl. Icarus' wing was white, and not really adorned with fancy stuff. However, Quetzalcoatl's was.

This is not entirely based on Daedalus/Icarus story in Greek Mythology, some parts are altered, and "Wing of Quetzalcoatl" doesn't sound very good....

I like the wing. Maybe its too small, make it a big larger 48 x 48 maybe and antialias it. This may solve the problem Zero Hour brought up, which I agree with him on. Its good when its big, but not when its small. Do something about it.

Actually, the wing is more like Ho-oh's.
Even so, a highly-ornamented wing like that wouldn't even fare well in a 70mph gale.

Yeah uh...I bet less than half the population of graal can lift even a block of gold, but about SIX melted into a design and plated onto wings?

Like I said though, it doesn't really have to be practical, it's a video game. I do agree with you that the wings wouldn't work well for flying.

It's more of a question of rationality than practicality. For a shield, I could understand, but relating a big golden wing to Icarus is... well... pretty funny.

Can we have more posts with a higher relevance to the graphics at hand rather than a legendary pokemon please? I'm sure the creator is frustrated that his graphic thread has become nothing mroe than a pokemon fan club.

Well if it's what I understand then it relates to icarus because it gives you temperary artificial flight.

You try doing that with gold wings. You may want to do it over water, or a big mattress though.

Well that wasnt my point Zero, of course you can't fly with gold strapped to your shoulder! that would just be silly! I was simply stating the relation to icarus.
