I may be offline for a day or two...

Depending on what happens when Tropical Storm (may be a Hurricane before it moves over land) Alberto comes through my area, I may be offline tomorrow or maybe longer.
I have quite a few bad trees in my yard that were damaged by last years devestating Hurricanes, so who knows what will happen if they come down. We will be very close to the center of circulation of this storm (the track). It has sustained 70 mph winds right now, with gusts much higher. Anyway, just a heads up to the possibility of my being offline for awhile, if it happens, so you will know why. |

The weather is wonderful here in the winter. Quote:
I am tired of doing the same song and dance with you, and I am not about to go there again with you. I have more important things to worry about at this time, then your whining about the same ol thing over and over again. |

California has smog. Florida has no income tax. I'll come up with more reasons later. |

I have never seen a place where you could look outside at any given time of the day, and see something strange looking walking down the street. ^^ The weather was nice, though As for the Tropical Storm: I am getting gusts of high wind now. It is just off land of Northern Florida with winds of 65 mph. Last night, it started to fall apart which kept it from becoming a hurricane, but now is trying to reorginize itself, moving slowly towards land. I wont be getting really strong stuff because it fell apart, and everything is so widespread, but I will be getting gusts of high wind, and rain all day, so we will see what happens. Could have been so much worse if it hadn't of been for the wind being strong enough to sheer this storm apart. Maybe I will get lucky this time... Quote:

Update: One of the trees I was worried about, just came down, and smashed my neighbors fence. I am thankful it went that way instead of on my house. It's a big tree, and my neighbors house is far enough away, that the tree missed their house, but not their wood fence :frown: Thank Goodness it was the top of the tree that snapped, and not the whole tree |

Are the winds that bad? I thought you were a ways inland? |

I don't control the weather :\ |
Pfft. Lightweight.
I was outside during both Rita and Katrina. Dodging limbs and debris > that fence getting pwned. |
