Graal Forums - Merchant Channel

We have now deployed a system for a Merchant Channel. You can join the channel by pressing F8, selecting Chat and double-clicking #Era_Merchant_Chat, and advertise your products through the Merchant system. The system is not particularly moderated, but abuse may result in a jail or ban.

Edit: I have decided to open up the merchant system to all servers. The commands below will be updated with servername to suit.

Here's how it works.

To use the merchant system, you need to PM the user at the left-hand side called IRCBot_EraMerchant. From there, you can type your command.
To list the products that are currently advertised, send the following command:
NPC Code:
```
list "servername"
```
If you do not get a response, there are no adverts available.
To advertise your own product, send the following command:
NPC Code:
```
advertise "product name" price password "servername"
```
For example: advertise "Skyld's Shoes" 100 testpassword "Era"

Note that the password is NOT your Graal password. Just pick a password that you would like to use for your advert.
To later remove the advert, send the following command:
NPC Code:
```
remove "product name" password
```
For example: remove "Skyld's Shoes" testpassword

If you entered the right password, then your product will be removed from the advert list.

Adverts older than 48 hours will not be displayed.

Please do not abuse the system, and remember to use the trade window when performing trades.
