Mafukie's house 2006

1 Attachment(s)
Well, I am in the process up redoing my house on classic, it hasn't been updated since like 2000. I am fairly happy with how things are going even
though it is taking a lot longer than it used to take me to design a level.

Suggestions, recommendations? I don't really know what to fill the levels with graphics wise.

The walls are weird... the walls going left to right have one style, but the ones going up and down have that 'slated' style.

I was going to for an angle type perspective. I think it looks neat.

Are you going to keep the walls? The default ones I mean...

Luda 06-01-2006 06:54 AM

ur missing the npc of me !pissed!
i dont like the wood like door things on the walls in main/living room

Thanks for the input Luda, I'll try to come up with something better.

Omini, I probably will keep the default walls since the house is on Classic. I am not into the 'new' style people tile with, although I can appreciate the time it takes people to do it.

Hm, yeah I can see where you're coming from. "Classic server, classic walls". In that case you should keep all the walls the same? Or use the windows or something (that you have to extract from the tileset, they're not pre-defined) that are below the table on the tileset. Walls just seem a little plain to me.

I Really Think It's Ok, Not The Best Level, But You Should Work On Those Walls.

Darlene159 06-04-2006 04:55 PM

It's a nice, clean Classic level.
The only things I don't like is the tan part around the top of the walls, because of the maroonish outline around it (doesn't blend), and the poles on the walls in the bottom right room.
Other than that, I love the classic-ness :)

I Guess I Dont Like It Because Im Not The Biggest Fan of Classic, I Like Teh Super Advanced Tileset Levels.

Mykel 06-05-2006 02:57 AM

I really like the general style. But the bottom right area has a bit too much open space.

I Actually Realized, It's Just Not Good...I Mean It's Ok, But There's No Main Theme Other Then...A Day In The Homestead? WTF ^^ Of Course It's Worthy Of UN :P It Owns Their Levels+ Make Some Creative Walls

I'm going to ask you to either stop posting in all capitals or stop capitalizing the first letter of each word.

Also this is a vintage Classic level, I'll ask you to not compare it to UN trash.

I don't want to become one of those people who correct grammar/punctuation and whatnot but that is my number one pet peeve. Also it is just plain annoying.

Yeah, the living room still needs to be 'filled in' with stuff. I am basically just doing a the tiles first then the filler.

Thanks
