Level stealing.. server stealing!

Well not quite server stealing, but Playerworld15 stole my whole gmap lol. Not quite sure how so i'ma just fire my only current LAT. They stole insides and outsides and had said to me it was just for testing purposes.

They're stupid enough to put my hat store up aswell with no hat database aswell and to leave the sign to my house on it.

They've modified a few things e.g a ladder to the osl, Spar instead of Blacksmith .

I suspect the account BrooklynX for giving these levels out. So, I would not trust him, but that's just me.

Don't understand why you posted it.

Chicken_l33t 05-31-2006 03:54 AM

Cause I can? To warn people? Perhaps other things are stolen aswell on the server.

ApothiX 05-31-2006 04:37 AM

I've seen and heard a lot of things that Playerworld15 has been stealing. And every time I've asked them they've said the same thing to me 'we're only using them for testing' (I believe they also had Era guns on their server at one point or another)

I must say though, that is a pretty nasty tile error on the inside-corner of the wall in this screenshot:

*****. "testing purposes" they have the entire exodus gmap on there, and they renamed it to like da.gmap, i dont think so, also, they closed off the link from OSL to the overworld probably because they don't anymore people *****in at them that they stole the exodus levels, shut this place down =x

Anyways...

Thanks for the warning, Chicken. :)

Chicken_l33t 05-31-2006 05:03 AM

I don't see the tile error :X lol, but it's probally there because the inside level actually uses a tileset and only some standard tiles which they have chaged.

BrooklynX? I reconize that account. Interesting ban history. Harrassment, Sexual Harrassment, Hacking Threats.

I think I recall seeing that person on Playerworld34 and Playerworld79 as Manager or something.

Chicken_l33t 05-31-2006 06:03 AM

Yes, BrooklynX. I had hired him as a LAT because he seemed decent not great, but decent and I was going to train him up a bit and then today he was asking if he could have my levels and I was like "No, i've worked hard on those and I am not giving them away." and then I logged onto Playerworld15 and he seemed to of disappeared from AIM.

So, I suspected him. Thank god I had given him only Read to the levels folder :)

Not a problem Curt, thanks for the support :D

I only give trusted people read rights. Anyone that begs for write rights or more rights simply gets fired due to "Lack of trust". If they ask for more rights, I get suspicious.

And look how your server turned out, the end.

ViCtOrEhEhEh 05-31-2006 10:20 PM

Isnt BrooklynX Midnight Chill?
