Dragoons(NOT dragons) Maybe a multiple-unit air transport, and shrines
 

You know I thought maybewe should add this as a class, or maybe just add it as a rank in the chain somewhere, i only suggest this since we have the wepons and stuff that a dragoon would use, plus they're totally awesome. BUT i do think maybe a bettre Jump or sumthing would work for these.

Then recently i thought, why don't we ahve a better form of air transport, you know like basically take a shipGFX edit it a bit, then make it sorta likem a blimp or sumthin, maybe like an airship fro the FF games or something, just a thought.

Then I also recently thoguht, you know maybe just an alatars something a little too smalle for a god or sumthing, why not have the altar INSIDE a shrine, these shrines have like looks and such which would depict the characters and such of our gods.

Do you know about Zeppelins?

Yes i know about zepplins, BUT the ones in the game are only SINGL unit, PLUS, well they go down pretty easily, so I'm thinking a bigger, stronger, and better version would be neat.

and I'm talking more of a roleplay version of a dragoon, I know what dragoons are, BUT I'm just suggesting, i figured calvary is good enough, so well you get it. also i'm thinking that lances or or better versions of spears or sumthing would be pretty cool.

I like the giant Zeppelin idea.


Have them run to the same towns as before, but end in a different city.
IE:
Instead of going Zhen Village to Rederil as the ferry does,
Have it run Zhen Village to Lakeshore

It would be a lot nicer if dimension door were enabled for travel.

well I meant like FREE moving zepplins or sumthing, and the view will be sorta chnaged in them, so you can sorta see where your going, and the ground below you.

BTW you mean the Vampire kain?? i didn't know he was a dragoon, i thought he was your average noble transformedinto a vampire by the necromancer mortaneous. this is about dragoons not vampires.

I'd just RP as a ((FFIV/RPG)) Dragoon in game.

I think the shrine idea is quite neat also. Five the place a glow the color of the gem at each altar. Add some new neat statues of the gods. Could be really neat.

Airships would be neat too, but would need to have a way to keep them very limited as it would be pretty heavy on the server I'd imagine.

Only problem with this is that spears are an absorbinantly rare item for something that should be craftable.

They are just rarely used, they arent hard to make I believe. I've never used them so I dunno but can you fight melee style with them? I know you can throw them.

No one uses them because I'm perttys ure you lose them like arrows.


WIth the exception that these are a hell of a lot harder to mass produce than arrows.

Those are javelins. There are 'spears' that have the attack style where you can spin them and attack left and right. They have no particularly special stats, but have a cool gani and look (that would fit dragoons well). However, they are not exactly 'common'. I know Alan had one until recently.
