Graal hitting E3?

Hey,
I know for a fact that E3 is the big boys playground for all the major game makers out there such as PS3 and more but has Graal ever considered getting new customers from it?

We all know that Graal is an addictive game and has a generally lively community, so is that a possibility.

Shiftk03- 05-25-2006 08:50 PM

That'd be like showcasing a moldy pretzel at a cookie convention. Ya just don't do it.

Faital_Ryu 05-25-2006 08:51 PM

You expect a player-run game with only a few hundred people on it at once to be at E3?! Very unrealistic. :\

excaliber7388 05-25-2006 08:55 PM

There's not enough people on at a time, however, it would be cool :D

Yea, pretty much.

excaliber7388 05-25-2006 11:38 PM

For people who spend a lot of time on these forums, you sure have a negative attitude towards Graal

That's because on the forums is where we're supposed to discuss graal, not play it.

Ibonic 05-25-2006 11:53 PM

Unixmad was actually there.
But I don't think there was an exhibit for Graal. So why am I posting this?

Spark910 05-25-2006 11:54 PM

Graal has been to E3 before, in 2001/2002 (maybe 2003, but I think 2002).

It makes speculation, which is fun

Googi 05-26-2006 12:57 AM

Isn't there rules on who's allowed to set something up at E3? Or at least an exorbitant square footage rental cost?

XxDarkrazorxX 05-26-2006 02:18 AM

Yeah, the costs are great. and graal wouldn't survive in there

Yeah I mean though, like having a small booth. It might not attract much attnetion but it's still there for the general interest.

I mean E3 boasts more than 10 major new releases it can go to LOADS!

Triple post

EEK Awesome is there pics anywhere?

Elk 05-26-2006 11:48 AM

There was a Pic of Unixmad on graalpeople.com when he was there I guess.

Infernix 05-26-2006 12:43 PM

Lol only thing graal is gonna be hitting soon is a trash can near you.

Admins 05-26-2006 01:20 PM

Unixmad was there and got many new contacts with (korean) game companies and french distributors. E3 is a good way to get in contact with people, for showing games to potential players it is a little bit expensive, although it's still possible that we might show off Graal there in the future.

Elk 05-26-2006 01:25 PM

I think Graal is good enough for E3 :)
I mean...look...this game is 8 years old now.
Many things have been improved.
And we have like 10000 players (4XXX Gold/Vip members and 6XXX Trials I guess)

Where are you getting these numbers from?

Where's the innovation? Where are the glowing reviews by gaming sites?

Sure, Graal might be fairly unique, but a game where we all hit Elk with clubs by solving complex math problems within a 2-second time limit for each strike would be unique too. That doesn't make it any more fun.

And I seriously doubt Graal has 10000 players, even including people who don't play regularly.

I count for 80% of those players.

Tom 05-26-2006 06:31 PM

At E3 there are loads of games with great gameplay, graal may be addictive but they gameplay is total pie now.

Fogles 05-26-2006 06:59 PM

i would sell pie at e3

Well, maybe those korean game companies and french distributors may be little sparkles of hope for Graal. Just little sparkles that barely add up to anything at all...

Oh, the optimism!

Yen 05-26-2006 09:27 PM

Pulling numbers out of my ass, I'd say 95% of Graalians are North American..
So wouldn't we want North American people to become interested, rather than Korean/French people?

Admins 05-26-2006 10:36 PM

You know that the company is located in France,
and that most online games are made in Korea ?
Also there are more than just sparkles...
