Prepping then Blessing
 

Today I prepped my FID to 15 slots with 225 diamonds. It was not blessed because I cannot afford to pay for a blessing. I knew that I could bless my weapon after prepping, just that it wouldnt go up as high, since it depended on my wisdom level. I go to bless my FID to ogma and this is what shows up now: That is garglius1's Flame Ice Dagger of Ogma (wielded) (dam +35) (improved 6/15) (slay faerie, dwarf) (Attacks: physical, magical, cold)

Anyone notice that my poison damage type is NOT on my weapon? I'm asking staff to either give me back my dias, IWD's and PW as well as a clean FID, or to add poison damage to my FID.

Use Identify? Although I was under the impression that you couldn't bless the weapon once it's prepped. The only reason why some people have higher +#'s than before prepping is because they used Enchant weapon scroll on one of the slots.

And why didn't you just bless it yourself before you prepared it?

I don't know, probably because I thought that I could bless it properly afterwards, which seem not to be the case.

I would have asked around first. It seems to me its your fault you did it that way. I dont see why you would even ask for it back.

If this was the way it was intended then it shouldn't allow him to bless it afterwards although it clearly did..and bugged his fid.

I can still bless my fid more

You have to wait until the weapon says "your weapon suddenly glows" which happens right before "A phosphorescent glow envelopes your weapon." A lot of people miss this.

Don't get mad when I say this but the reason a weapon is prepared is so that it can not be enchanted in any other way but a scroll.
