Imagine!!
coudl you imagine if there was this many people http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/5941/graalwow4kr.jpg in 1 ALWAYS GETTING UPDATED (unlike classic) SERVER on graal....
:( it'll prob never happen...but...IMAGINE how much the game would own. |
Classic used to be like that :( 400 players on at a time.
|
there were more players online on the site...
:( but well... |
Imagine if Stefan listened to players.
|
And imagine if 550 of them disappeared because that one server could not possibly offer all of the content that are offered on all the different servers you see on the playerlist. But hey, no one likes Zone, Kingdoms, or Era. So why care about the content offered there that is in no way whatsoever similar to Classic.
|
well yeah but still.there's like 5464361621 servers and they all divide the graal pop by 5464361621

Well, than the problem to me seems to be that you want more players. Stop crying about the playerworlds people, if it weren't for them we'd all be playing the same server, BORING. Plus, UN can't even handle 200 people on it's server (then again, thats becasue they're all in maintown....). However, even Era lags with more than 150 people, sometimes less. I don't think the servers can handle 600 people on at once. And why do you want that so bad? What's that going to do for you anyway? I'd rather a server with 100 people on who actually know eachother, than 600 annomous people

There were downsides though. Tons of hacking due to poor GPs such as Hoss, and too much lag. Oh, and Peach+Lycia. |
If all you want is community, look no further. You're on the graal forums, where players of different playerworlds can talk. Yay!
As for the main purpose of a game, you have to enjoy playing it, and not everbody would enjoy playing it. (especially the current clasic). Playerworlds help generate revenue, new players, active players, and variety. They're crutial to gameplay. Personally, I think the PWA should be larger, and take a more active role in playerworlds, helping random playerworlds along, developement, advertising for them, giving overviews, etc. Essentially, they should be like developement staff on every server. This would really push them along, give 'expert' help with certain problems quickly, and ensure the quality of the servers, thus more players, and more involement (which is more money for Graalonline, the bottom line). |

There are at least 130 people (if not the same people) that are on the developing playerworlds constantly. That takes away from the other world's population. |
Here's the thing. You'd first need a server that would attract people. Then you advertise it. That's how you get players.
Whenever I finish my 2k1 revision, I'm going to spread the news via word of mouth... or word of text... or whatever. There are plenty of gaming forums out there and if you posted about Graal and your server I'm sure you'd get SOME people interested. Especially if you had nice screenshots and gave a description of all the great things you can do on the server. If all else fails, there's always my trump card. :) |

How about the betrothed love affair Peach had with an actual female (that looked like a man!) that was busted by Spider and his hax0ring ways? Good times. Goood times.

i was the best GP that classic has ever seen!!!!!!! |
I think Zodiac could possibily handle a lot of players, and would get a lot of players, it has had 67 players, as an hosted server, which is pretty a high prestation I guess.. and since Yen made all their systems, there wouldn't be any lag at all? I'd say put it classic, if they want =P
